I fully agree re. Trent. It’s a fair argument to make that he’s the best attacking fullback in the world when on form and he can’t get in the team? It’s criminal.

When I first moved to Scotland I went to a newsagent on Leith Walk and there was a DVD of that win on the counter. 😂 Which is fine. And I’m a very reasonable England fan and a complete Scotlandphile. I love it up here and I understand a lot of the anti England football stuff. But that made me laugh because the biggest thing they “claim” annoys them is that we always go on about 1966 but fvck me. I’d take that more seriously if they didn’t release DVDs for a glorified friendly win.

Also, this “Enzoball” style that apparently is worse than AIDs got us promoted after many of us felt we’d struggle in the Championship after the clusterfvck of Rogers. I understand some people might not like it but the OTT slagging of it on here is crazy. I said it at the time, but reading this forum last season you’d have thought we were battling relegation not literally top of the league for the entire season (once games in hand had been played).

I’m not particularly one for revelling in other’s defeats but you know 100% if Derby or Forest lost a final and we were in League 1 that, as a fan base, we would still be laughing at them. I live in Scotland, the stick they give the England team gets annoying and is often embarrassing but I understand it 100% and Leicester fans would do the same I think.

I think taking a pop at rivals is what football is about.

I feel a bit like I did in the Italy final. Like before the game part of me almost felt embarrassed we were there and that we didn’t really deserve to win. During the game I felt the same. When we equalised it genuinely felt unfair. Maybe it’s living in Scotland for too long, but I want a team I can be proud of. I don’t want to fluke my way to a final and hope we fluke that too. I just want a new manager that goes for it a bit.

We really didn’t deserve it. It’s so depressing. Very very lucky to be anywhere near the final.

All teams get some luck. On balance it’s very hard to say they have not been, on average, the best team in the tournament.

Both things can be true: 1. The Championship is better than the SPL. 2. A particular SPL player is be better than a particular Championship player.

Whether a manager is British or not has literally 0% impact on me and I can’t imagine what it would be like to feel that way.

Imagine filming that then watching it back then thinking “yeah, that’s good, I’ll post that”.

Up until the injury he was one of our best players last season. On the right terms it’s a no brainer really.

Not seen anyone that blew me away. Dexys are one of my all time favourite bands but just too old now. Kasabian are rubbish. Coldplay boring. Baxter Dury was ok but self indulgent. I just don’t like Idles because they’re middle class boys (my own chip I understand). Streets were decent but didn’t knock me over. Lots of OK stuff but music is sooooooo bland these days. I’m old. Modern music isn’t “for me” I get that but I wish is scared me a bit. If I was watching all these modern bands thinking “Christ these are ****ing awful I hate them they scare me” I’d love it. But they’re just all nice and ok.
