The dream is that they are relegated and only 2 teams go down this year. The nightmare is that they are relegated and only 2 teams go down this year… and we’re one of them.

Speaks volumes how many Bristol city fans love him considering they didn’t achieve anything. Wish nothing but the best for king Nige!

If this was a genuinely big club, I’d agree. But I actually think they’d love to hit man city as hard as they can. I think they’d love to have Man City destroyed if the league was then dominated by the other entitled 5 clubs.

The Man City 115 charges case has concluded. Supposedly going to take months for the results to come out… my take is that means it’s going to be ground shaking.

Sounare is banned as well isn’t he? so pretty sure he should make the bench at least. -
Now tell me if he can defend

I think this point absolutely nails it. there was a small insignificant moment, that identified that for me. He played a ball and there was a return pass that another player was coming onto, in the past he would have let the ball go to them and they probably would have got in each others way and we get countered on and probably concede knowing us. But this time, he demanded that the pass back was for him, he took the ball and spread it to the wing and the attack kept going. I just thought to myself in the moment, that it was the first time I’ve seen him want to take control and not just be passive to what’s going on around him. Similarly, I noticed the same from Bilal. in the west ham game a few moments when it looked as if facundo was going to take the ball from him but he basically took control of the moment and said …. I’m part of this now, get out the way. not in a negative way but under cooper he obviously didn’t feel like it was his place to demand the ball and make plays himself, but already ruud has got these guys being accountable.

that was my point mate. If he had stayed with us he would have developed further imo.
-
i questioned that myself. Personally, I just think that when he opened his body I would have been sliding to try and block the shot as at that point he’s definitely having a go. Maybe was worried he’d cut back again but that would have been a weird choice and I think you’ve just got to commit sometimes.

Seems like a genuinely excellent manager! Making sure to acknowledge all the small things goes a long way. He should have landed a top job years ago!
-
If there’s space and I think there was a quote for RVN basically saying he liked to work with one (I believe there were some loose links to fletcher)… then it’s at least worth a call isn’t it?
-
So some say that Ruuds relationship with ashworth was great…. Bring him in to replace the devil ruud and we will get the statue made
-
and that’s the manager gone

if everyone can see something except you, perhaps it’s you that needs to find a different sport?
-
I was thinking the same. A year of bedding him in against easier opposition and you just wonder where he could be.

what odds would you get on Ruud finishing above man u? -
It’s mad that we have a player who’s maxed out their love. it can’t increase or decrease for me. These moments are now, just vardy being vardy to me.
-
what’s most surprising to me is how fit he is. Sprinting around everywhere today and at the end of the game he looked like he was in his first 10 mins not the last moments.

bit of an overreaction to BDR imo -
I wasn’t convinced when we signed him, I couldn’t see what he would bring. His performances doubled down my thoughts and i thought we’d perhaps got it wrong. He continued to be poor and languid and everyone was in agreement he didn’t fit us. But, I have to admit…. he’s won me over and I genuinely really rate him. I think ruud needs to build around him, we play how he needs to play. The guy has something majestic about him and the more he’s on the pitch the better he gets. He looked like prime pogba at times today. I think he’s going to fully turn his career around here with ruuds guidance

we’ve looked pretty good considering the standard of opposition. I think soulmate and kristiansen have been very good

ayew reeks of when a players brain still thinks their body has their old speed. He’s late to everything the challenges are clumsy because he’s just not able to keep up. It’s a bad day at the office for him and yet again proof that he can’t start games

As soon as he started doing the simpson celebrations I knew he was a top guy. Glad to hear he’s on the mend
