Hard to call the Pedro one. I’ve seen it a few times and can’t tell if he already knows the player is out the way and he’s just remonstrating to the ref. that’s not the point i was making. The OP was saying we wouldn’t be interested in a star performer from the championship who wasn’t getting time at his new club. it’s nothing to do with the fact it’s our old player, it’s more because it’s a player who’s recently performed very well and hasn’t been given a proper chance yet. The situation on both are pretty identical. Signed for areas that the clubs didn’t have any intention of making them first team

It is and always has been the 3 of us and Everton imo. You can just see the other squads are too strong and short of horrific management they would likely not be beatable over a full season. Everton, are strong defensively but with a lack of goals it only takes a few consecutive 1-0 losses to put them in the mess. Hopefully they lose the next few and we get through it in tact enough to have a proper go when the fixtures improve. I’d absolutely love to be the ones to relegate them

Decent enough team. id imagine we’d lose kristiansen, he could easily get another serie A gig. I’d imagine we need to pull in around 50m again, that could be tricky with this squad. Winks, soumare, kristiansen out, possibly sell someone like soutter to a newly promoted side. Keep your fingers crossed we can get some of the youth team into the fold.

Whilst we haven’t been perfect I disagree. Personally, I think Brighton was the best we’ve played all season tactically. We were just a tad unfortunate with the goals they got. The jury is certainly still out on Ruud but personally I’m waiting until after January where he’s hopefully had a chance to fix Coopers wrongs. The next few games will be rough and he just has to get the best out of us that he can! We could be cut adrift by then unfortunately

Same as the last 7/8 Leicester managers in games like this. get everyone behind the ball, counter and hope for the best. What game plan do you expect in a game like this? If I let you manage it 10 times you lose all 10 and get spanked in at least half of them. You can’t judge any manager when the handicap is so large. If we tried to play like spurs did do you expect a better score line? Because all it would do is lead to a record breaking defeat tbqh. Loosing by 2 goals is about as good as we could have hoped for

This game will show us if he is a good manager or a bad one. Not the result but in how he follows up after that sh*t show. If we see ward or Justin I’d be extremely concerned. I would like to see Buonanotte as he’s one of the few that can drag us up the pitch with his ball carrying. But the car crash at the back is the bigger worry for this game. Anything better than 3-0 would be a good result tbqh

You never know until after January. That’s why people pre-relegating Southampton and Ipswich are foolish. If any club makes 2 or 3 good signings their outlook flips. I hope we sign players with one eye on next season because we are guaranteed to be on an embargo and need to ensure whoever comes in will be big for us if we go down.
