you don’t get relegated because you lose to man city, but you can stay up because you’ve taken points from them.

I didn’t see a single training clip of cooper that looked this engaged. players are buying into him -
Honestly, screw finding hiden gems in a relegation scrap.:. Get KDH, Maguire and Barnes and we’re laughing
-
If we could get Barnes back for what they paid, I’d snap their hands off.
-
The difference is that Adkins was on the way down, whereas Mckenna is likely on the way up. They haven’t been terrible, overall they’ve played quite well tbh, the premier league is just unforgiving. They have 2 winnable games coming up then about 8 fixtures from hell, so if they don’t get points in the next 2 l, then they will likely hit bottom for xmas…. then your theory may come true. I personally see the promotion season as a free pass for a manager, unless they are making glaringly obvious mistakes. But i don’t think he’s underachieved, probably just doing as well as could have been hoped for.
-
they’ve just had back to back promotions and aren’t cut adrift, that shouldn’t even be a thought in their minds
-
Surely i’m not the only person who thinks he is drastically over hyped. He’s had a couple of good games and then he’s suddenly worth 50m and going to be world class. Yet, he doesn’t even get scraps of minutes at Brighton, who prefer Danny welbeck at his ripe age and pedro, who in all fairness has never hit the levels expected of him. And don’t forget that brighton are one of the best creative sides in football, as a striker you naturally will look better with the amount they create for you and the extra space they buy you. I think it has disaster written all over it tbh and he wont be much better than George Hirst. So many players like him at clubs that get this hype because the club don’t play them and you just get a snippet but there’s always a reason behind it. Troy parrot at spurs is a good example, always had a huge hype but wasn’t able to light up the championship. with all young talent, of course they could make it to the top, but paying the levels required for him now doesn’t make sense to me. Particularly when you consider someone like delap was available for a fraction of that. It’s just very very unlikely to work out as good business
-
Both sides can’t defend for toffee so should be a decent game. I’d bet my house that they wouldn’t miss the amount of chances west ham did though.
-
I think last night summed him up well. Capable of the sublime but also capable of being alone, through on goal, and miscontrolling to the keeper. I think you’ll always get those moments with him but if there’s more good than bad we’ll take it.
-
might be against consensus but I actually think mcateer was vital to that win. His energy stretched the pitch and pulled their defenders all over. His output wasn’t up to scratch but he’s been out the side all season so that’s basically a pre-season run out for him. if we’re going to have buonnanotte and Bilal you need a keen runner ala marc albrighton.

We’ve won a game Soumare has started 🎶Come here Ruud boy, boy, can you get it up?🎶
-
wildly entertaining football, we just don’t have the quality to pull it all off at the moment
-
you must have been seething at the man u defenders subbing before 60 mins
-
that’s quite possibly one of the worst takes i’ve ever seen

Wanted to start a thread for Fantasy Premier league draft advice. I love the draft league format and have a really active league with my mates. Current conundrum: Trade deal offered of Martinelli and ederson for Garnacho and verbruggen. I also have amad and have been looking to diversify. 10 person league so slim pickings on waivers. I think Garnacho out scores martinelli, but does the fact i have amad mean it makes sense to diversify?!
-
it’s not just the 13 goals in 12 though, he also has 7 assists. 20 goal contributions already is unreal!
-
even more funny if man city are in the championship by then
-
yes yes yes!!! Now this would be a perfect bit of business.
-
Omar Marmoush. Ruud literally arrived and said get me a striker 😂 We had scouts watching him according to: [@tipsbladet] Hes got 13 goals in 12 games and is looking the business this season.
-
when is that stupid little club world cup? 2 prem sides involved i believe
-
it was pretty obvious he was clueless when danny ward was being selected ahead of iversen
-
got the majority right last season, only real duds were players enzo requested personally and coady. It’s the first season in a long while it’s gone right but it would be strange for enzo to think he was terrible based on last year and the amount of resources he was afforded

curious if he speaks spanish… given his time at malaga and the fact he has a home there. Definitely opens the door for south american youngsters that don’t speak english. Infinitely lowers the risk if a manager can speak directly to players rather ran through an interpreter -
