well the issue is we need to improve not bring in a number. We won’t stay in the league because of che adam’s… we need to get this signing right. He’s the type of guy that if you need to fill a 4th striker role for a conference league that you might consider. we currently have 3 players that might not be good enough in the prem (so sorry vardy) We absolutely need a talisman and that won’t be adam’s. Just wrong guy at this time. Doesn’t mean he’s a terrible player but he’s not the guy that keeps you in the league or one you sell for good money… just a waste of resource in our position imo

definitely, albrighton was probably (deservedly) on a very high wage due to what he achieved. The only player who i’d heard was on modest terms was soyuncu, everyone else would likely be on more than anyone we sign with our new model.

one thing that’s escaped a lot of people on here is that the main reason we couldn’t comply was wages… last year was an anomaly because we didn’t have premier league income but on paper for this season … we now no longer have the huge wages of. perez, youri, kasper, madison vardy (reduced), evans, fofana and most importantly… brendan This was a large part of our problem, the current incoming probably take up just youris wage combined. So assuming the incoming players aren’t demanding 100k (reported soule is after 40k) then we should be far better off than people expect.
