  1. Well perhaps OH are run better than us, but we’ve never had anything like that at Leicester. Every players contract has run out before joining coaching (Phillips, Powell etc)
  2. His best trait is how good he is at through balls, so what would be the point in signing him. cba watching ayew run through treacle or daka getting through every game to shank one into the stands
  3. Just goes to show that our ownership is learning nothing if they’ve sanctioned that. Very disappointing. hopefully you get one of the unicorns that plays well at 36
  4. Is it actually? That’s wild considering we were getting 40m in the prem supposedly. if king power can’t pay that to sponsor they are absolutely stuffed
  5. Feels like we are getting in order until you realise we’ve lost about 15-20m in revenue from the shirt sponsor fiasco
  6. 3 year deal
  7. the most important signing of nigel’s time at the club came shortly after these :
  8. he just really wanted to play for dean smith after seeing what he could do with soumare. the streetz won’t forget that wolves game
  9. Keep this up and you’ll go from a mega c you next Tuesday, to a huge c you next Tuesday
  10. Yeah but like he said, that’s not common from his career. Just one bad season and often injuries stem from each other. If he’s truly shaken them off then I get his sentiment. If however, there’s still lingering issues he’s using painkillers for, that’s a different scenario
  11. The real evidence was when he got in the England team and it looked like when you have a celebrity playing with the ex pros in soccer aid
  12. I dunno other than the year he acknowledged, he had one bad injury the rest of the time about 10% of the season off, that’s not that bad really is it?
  13. Cant wait for all the fans that won’t watch any of thee Leeds games, going berserk after he scores a screamer against someone in the top 6 Good lad, average fullback. Had a good period when we were flying but overall probably overrated by many of our fans during his better years (same as castagne)
  14. Fair enough, can’t say I noticed who got the ball to Abdul, considering where he was on the field when he got it. it’s an assist purely in statistical terms
  15. Well that and the fact that soumare offers us absolutely nothing. He’s got less goal contributions than faes in fact, not sure he has a single assist since joining? Faes’s mistakes get punished with goals because of the nature of the position, it’s much more noticeable. He’s been bad, I don’t question that but around the mistakes he does actually tend to contribute. I prefer that to nothing players like soumare. like it or not, faes has earnt us points. And I doubt he’s cost us more points than he’s helped us earn. But it’s hard to shake off the lost ones after how calamitous they usually are
  16. maybe that’s why we are pretending to sign stengs
  17. That’s slanderous on Gilbert. He did a job
  18. Worth a pop but I’d be worried about an obligation. We’d end up paying 10m for someone who played 4 games or something daft
  19. We’ve been burnt by way too many players who look good until they come here over the hill.
  20. All of our defenders have clear faults one way or another Ricardo (injury prone), Justin (lack of defensive awareness), Thomas (athleticism), vesty (pace), okoli (on the ball) the difference with faes is he doesn’t have footballing issues at all. It’s all in his head and down to concentration/ stupidity. It’s hard to argue he’s not a better footballer than the others (Ricardo excluded) just absolutely no consistency from him.
  21. Abdul has some traits that are extremely rare even at the top of the game. Very few players can be having a stinker, where nothings coming off and then just randomly pull off something that perfect. He doesn’t seem to lose confidence even on a bad day. Proper player
  22. You lot talk like the efl actually follow any standard structure. they make things up as they go along. It’s probably not an embargo but we’ve agreed to a business plan. If we break that we’d be deducted points as it’s a sign we have no intention of complying. It’s basically an agreed to embargo and why we were strongly against doing one for the efl in January last time. If we sell bilal im sure we would have met what we had said we would and can likely move for players but spending 13m on a striker would probably break that… hence why we’d want a loan
  23. It’s only a problem if you’re desperate to sell him. It would be a simple, join palace or you’re staying for the season
  24. Huge game and I really don’t feel like we’re ready for it
