  1. If everyone of those 5630 has paid £70 than that’s covered today’s wage bill (£394000 Per day in 18/19) but the club will have spent it all by about 2am. I am sure all those £70’s have helped the club in this difficult time.
  2. Amazed by the blind loyalty of some who think they are actually helping the club in difficult times and don’t realise they are totally insignificant. if every ST Holder renews it pays less than 4days wages, the club will spend your £70 on wages alone quicker than it takes you to process the transaction. The club doesn’t need to change £70 it’s a made up figure with very little justification. They could have charge £10 it would still be massively insignificant to the club, they could do it FOC and it wouldn’t affect the club.
  3. Can confirm anyone that goes will have a great time. been twice this year and will be going to the Stuttgart game as well.
  4. I fear then we are already too late... but get some tickets in the UFS section for Wigan anyway!
  5. F**k Dortmund! called a Capo most European sides have one position themselves at the front sadly at the KP the flask brigade would complain about not being able to see the players warm up or come out the tunnel. we’re literally one step away from someone bringing an entire Victoria sponge to the game like at Fulham, if it hasn’t happened already? have a drum in a stadium over here people call it lame, many other places it’s expected. clubs, media and many fans are so scared of any kind of fan culture over here it’s ridiculous. everyone should get involved in the UFS section for the Wigan game and lets see if we can bring the atmosphere back.
  6. For 90 minutes long We'll sing a song for Maddison Running past defenders Try and stop him if you can
  7. While I was sat in the car waiting to get out of the car park a bloke walked past with about 10 of them around his neck, looked very pleased with himself...
  8. I listen to a lot of podcasts in the car these days currently though it’s Slowthai and the new Kano record.
  9. I normally use the tram to exchange quay (Eccles or media city trams) from Piccadilly / Piccadilly gardens it’s about a 10 minute walk to the away end and seems easier to get back into Manchester after the game than some of the other tram stops.
  10. The S.L.P album is a little bit boring really first few tracks of it were great but it’s just a bit dull overall. albums I’ve liked recently Husky Loops The Murder Capital !!! (Chi Chk Chk) The Hold Stead Blanck Mass
  11. Leicester’s in a great place to have a cracking music scene over the next few years. i think the folks who run the cookie have played a massive part in this. for many years Leicester didn’t have a decent small venue to bring up and coming bands to The Musican is really a place for your dad, although I did see Royal Flood there. Firebug/ soundhouse etc never really did it consistently. but the cookie has managed to provide a space to put on some decent bands and give a place for local artists to play and see bands as well. you also have promoters like robot needs home who have put on some great shows. Next few few years could be great for Leicester bands and live music.
  12. That’s a whole other thread with the club making a 160% mark up on a standard Adidas catalogue kit by charging £55 when you can buy it £21 that’s an expensive badge and logo. Buying bulk each shirt probably costs them about £15 which is why they end up for sale for £25 come February Many people just accept that they are getting ripped off when buying a club shirt doesn’t make it OK either. people will pay the ticket charge and they know it, doesn’t make it right it’s an unnecessary extra charge that in reality over the the entire season won’t cover Matty James wages for the past two weeks. It is a 5% rise on a standard adult ticket in the Kop while saying no price increase. not directed at you but so many people look through their “king power blue” glasses and can’t see that sometimes the club aren’t always perfect in everything they do.
  13. The new Thom Yorke album is an absolute mood killer. amazing album on your own with a pair of headphones on in a dark room it’s brilliant. put it on in a group of people and everyone will be googling the Samaritans after about 10mins special mention for Frightend Rabbit the midnight organ fight. Scott was an amazing lyricist but when you listen to this album in particular floating in the forth knowing that his where his body was found after he killed himself in 2018 it’s a tough listen but a brilliant album
  14. So I’m just back from my first trip to Bochum and I’ve had an amazing couple of days. only a few weeks a go I decided to go to the game on my own not knowing anyone but I have to say from the people who helped at this side with getting me a ticket and letting me join them for the weekend and the Bochum fans who looked after us all weekend in their city to the random Bochum fans in the stadium welcoming me to their club and giving us scarves and of course the curywurst have all been beyond what I could have imagined. Loved the whole weekend only problem for those is that put up with me this time is that this will not be my last trip, so let me know folks when your going over again! So thanks to everyone I met or helped me out it was a brilliant experience.
  15. Just sorting all my plans out now, what’s the best way to get to Bochum from Dortmund Airport? Is it the Airport express bus to Dortmund Hbf and then a regional train to Bochum?
  16. As and aside I saw Foals there, also 7 years ago, Which was crazy. Never been there since
  17. Looks like one more is on that flight as well now. taken the plunge and all booked up! Looking forward to it!
  18. How easy would it be to get a ticket for the Union Berlin game on the 19/05? is the easiest way to fly Stansted - Dortmund?
  19. Don't think these have mentioned yet, probably heading towards the chill out room but still Drum and Bass Classics
  20. Pickles the Fox is defiantly the elephant in the room, or should I say Bear in the Room
  21. Still in a state of shock and hard to describe how this all feels and the next few weeks will be difficult for everyone connected to the club. Vichai and his family could have invested in a any club but for some reason they chose our club. They took us from championship obscurity and made the impossible possible. vichai and his family took the club, the people and the city to their heart and the people of Leicester returned that feeling. I never had the pleasure of meeting Vichai or any of his family but besides the obvious investments in the club, the charitable donations, the free scarfs and beers I’ve seen him handing out dozens of free shirts to children and when he ran out he went and got more. Vichai and his family were not just rich invevestors they are all good people. We’ve lost the best owner in football but Top and the rest of his family have lost their father and I know how devastating that is. I just hope they understand how much we loved and respected Vichai not just as Mr Chairman but as a person.
  22. So many great episodes for me the Brian Blessed one was worth the wait
  23. I love berlin it’s an amazing city, however I imagine in February it’s probably the same sort of weather as over here cold, wet, windy same for the likes of Prague, Vienna, krakow etc so would think of somewhere more southern people have already mentioned Seville. I thought Porto was nice the other year. I really like Valencia although the locals are absolutely bonkers. i went in March when they have this festival called mascleta where they basically just blow the city up! They have these fireworks everyday for the first two weeks in March. I say fireworks but it’s just noise and smoke everyday at 2pm never seen or heard anything like it, the ground was shaking. And then as you are walking around kids are just throwing fireworks around. about 5min in it goes real crazy, 7min in its carnage and the do this every day for two weeks oh and the Mestalla is a great stadium if you can sneak in a game!
