Offer him a £1m bonus if we stay up - that'll cover the loss in taxes. It would be worth it if he helps keeps us up and may make him give it his all whilst here.
-
It's the 10% not done that worries me when completing deals involving Rudkin.
-
Welcome to Leicester err, hmm
-
I'm not sure the current team would gain promotion from the Championship if we were still there. Playing this bland type of football with no perceived plan and arguably a weaker squad is quite frightening with 5 days to go before our first game.
-
Can't we do a loan with obligation to buy. Don't think he'd count as one of our loans as he is only 18.
-
Looking like another day passes by - even if we do get players in tomorrow, it's probably very unlikely they'll feature on Monday.
-
Yes, I agree - but Vardy is the alpha bellend and he won't want Zaha usurping him.
-
Vardy will sort him and his ego out
-
And Sensi
-
Similar to the last 4, apart from one loan signing.
-
but unlikely to sign any!
-
Bloody hell that's optimistic, I was thinking more the January transfer window.
-
Is there any links to Doughty or is it just a personal wish? What sort of fee would it take for Luton to sell do you reckon?
-
No Ricardo or Buanonotte?
-
This the problem - another day will drift by and with Rudkin seemingly taking weeks to get 1 deal over the line, I've little faith in 3 or 4 signings before next Monday.
-
Think they might go for Abrahams
-
Even better then.
-
Left Back (Regallon maybe €10m) CAM (Buonanotte - Loan) Winger (Zaha or Carvalho - Loan) Midfielder - (Hamer, Kieta or Nanasi £16m) Striker (Adebayo £15m to £20m) Could do this for under £50m, that's £10m a year over 5 years
-
A straight Maddison replacement then
-
It is always better to have an option to buy, but the situation we are in, if he, along with a few other loans/purchases can help us to stay up, then our finances should be better next year, our appeal as a Premier League club better and therefore we can then purchase players of a higher calibre and be more attractive to potential signings.
-
I'm hoping (but with little conviction) that it's like the proverbial London bus. You wait a ages for one to arrive then 2 or 3 all come at once. However, I do worry that other clubs know our desperation and we pay inflated prices to get deals done or we can only attract our 3rd or 4th choice targets.
-
Do we need two strikers? I think another body in midfield is of greater urgency, so would replace Fofana with Nanasi.
-
Did we - I thought the total was €13m which included quite a comprehensive package of add ons? I was under the impression, the initial fee was about €6-8m
-
The panic for me is Cooper saying he wants 4 or 5 more in, yet it been over 3 weeks since we've got 1 in. Is Rudkin capable of securing multiple deals in days?
