All well and good stockpiling these kinds of players but we do actually need to sign some quality. I like Almiron in that he's a tryer but we don't have any consistent quality from the wings.

Our Rodgers team shits all over this current Forest team. We were beating teams 3/4/5 nil while being the best defence in the league. It was a stupidly good side in the era of 100 point chasing Man City and Liverpool. We'd have been genuine title contenders in any other era. That side in 2019 or so was genuinely a better team than the one that won the league.

He is a complete 'nothing' player. Wouldn't have a problem with him if he came through the academy or we signed him on a free but we shelled out £20m on him and I actually don't know what he does to a Premier League level. I was someone excited when we signed him but after seeing him in a poor side, he's completely let me down. Another on the massive list of jokers we've signed for £15m+ in the last 3/4 seasons that we won't sell for profit. Winks is 4 times the player Skipp is.

I hate to point out the obvious but were any of you questioning the player's attitude last week when we came back from 2-0 down against Brighton? We were beaten by a far superior side today. Nobody in the bottom half would have lived with Isak, Gordon, Tonali etc. There's a reason the Saudis spent hundreds of millions on these players. I think we can just point out there are too many players that aren't at the level required. I don't think it's any deeper than that.

El Khannouss was the only one that looked like a Premier League player. Coady and Vestergaard did well to keep Isak quiet for the first half. Hermansen make some nice saves. Other than that you're looking at 1s and 2s out of 10. It was every bit as hopeless as the Brentford debacle.
