Solid, consistent performer. He’s not going to catch the eye of many, however he’ll graft, has decent technical ability and played in the right position could be an asset to the fight. -
https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/alex-oxlade-chamberlain-next-club-34561301 Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain eyed by two Premier League clubs as ex-Liverpool star plots return Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain racked up more than 200 Premier League appearances during spells with Arsenal and Liverpool and could be poised to sign for a third club in the competition Leicester and Wolves are keen to snap up Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain if the midfielder is allowed to leave Besiktas in January, it has been claimed. Oxlade-Chamberlain joined the Turkish club in 2023 after an injury-hit end to his time at Liverpool. He was a Premier League and Champions League winner with the Merseyside club, but was limited to just 13 appearances in his final season at Anfield. Injury issues have persisted at his new club, with a torn thigh muscle keeping the England international out for several months last season. He has yet to complete a full 90 this season, though a change of manager could help kick-start his time in the Super Lig. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is now in the dugout, and handed Oxlade-Chamberlain a chance to impress from the start against Antalyaspor on Sunday. If the manager decides to cash in, though, it appears there could be a willing taker in England According to The Sun, Leicester and Wolves are both considering a loan move for the 31-year-old. Championship sides Leeds and Sheffield United have also been linked, leaving his apparent options as a relegation battle or a promotion push. Oxlade-Chamberlain started his professional career with Southampton before spells at Arsenal and Liverpool. He played more than 200 times in the Premier League, but injuries meant the 2019-20 campaign was the only season in which he racked up 30 appearances in the competition.

He reminds me a lot of Christian Eriksen, or dare I say it, Gilfy Siggurdsen with how he plays.

King Power could, if they wanted to, actually shut the gate and shut us down as a football club and business. It would be really stupid but then again, so were some of the other things we’ve witnessed in the past 4 years.

Hamza Choudhury loan to Sheff Utd - Official

He’s been here a while! -
Depends on the system. If you’re looking for ball retention and want to pass a team to pieces so they’re chasing a game, he’s an exceptional player. This is why Maresca loved him and he’d be great for someone like Pep. If you want a quick back to front counter attack, he’s just not going to work. Horses for courses. I will say, if he has better players around him then he can progress the ball like El Khannous, then he’s a safer pair of hands than Ndidi when in possession. Soumare brings a balance but is pressing higher up the pitch. He’s just not very good once the game goes past him.

On Choudhury, I hope this finally means he’s leaving us permanently. He’s put in some good performances but he’s clearly had some high profile off field challenges, and he is a limited player. He needs continual game time, so hopefully Sheffield United provides him with that and the ability he showed as a youth players, potentially comes to fruition. -

The Souttar loan was cancelled I believe. Insurance will cover the wages. Sheffield United are free to loan another player. -
Ian Wright went to them to finish his career didn’t he? …. I think

https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/sport/football/football-transfer-news/celtic-transfer-vardy-kvistgaarden-bayo-34556281 Jamie Vardy lands Celtic transfer pitch as Kyogo successor hunt goes beyond Kvistgaarden amid £4m alternative 'talks' The outgoing Celtic striker has left a massive void in the Hoops' squad Craig Moore reckons Leicester City's Jamie Vardy could be on the Celtic shopping list as they search for a new striker before the end of January. The Hoops are preparing for life without Kyogo Furuhashi with the striker on the brink of a £10m switch to Stade Rennes - which would leave Adam Idah and Johnny Kenny as Brendan Rodgers' two options up front for the remainder of the season if a January arrival can't be secured. Brondby's forward Mathias Kvistgaarden had emerged as the top target - but reports in Denmark state he is currently remains with his teammates at their mid-season training camp in America with time ticking on the January window. And Moore reckons that Rodgers could turn to the veteran frontman - who scored in the Foxes win over Tottenham on Sunday - after he managed Vardy during his time at the King Power Stadium. The former Rangers man told Go Radio: “Kyogo’s goals are consistent and they are regular. He is perfect for the way that Celtic play. He will be a big loss. There’s no doubt about that. “Will Celtic still be able to finish the back end of the season in a strong positive manner? Or, do they tail off a little bit and then in the off-season, the conversations are a little bit different? “You talked about it earlier and maybe a top-notch player coming in on loan, or something like that. I haven’t watched every game, but is Vardy playing every single week down the road? He has seven goals and is 38. Brendan has worked with him.” Lille striker Mohamed Bayo has also been touted as a potential Kyogo successor - and reports in France state the player has held "talks" with the Ligue 1 side to push for an exit. The Guinea international Bayo spent last season on loan at Le Havre and his impressive form earned him a second chance at his parent club - but he has struggled to make an impact this term netting just twice.

I get the feeling we’ll fall back inside the relegation zone in the next 5 games, however, how nice does it feel to be out of it!

-
I’m amazed we’ve had two shots! Never mind scored twice!
-
This is a cruel joke
-
I think he gets unnecessary hate on here. He’s had some tortured performances for us. However people forget the ones when he’s had solid games. He’s unspectacular but at times, he’s more stable than the Kristiansen, who I think Is at a similar level.

If Bouba could go straight through Maddison early, that would be appreciated.

We have endured a difficult stretch, with winnable games slipping through our fingers, goals proving elusive, leaking them at the other end like we’ve got a bucket full of holes and performances far below our potential. Yet, football is a game of redemption, and today offers a golden chance to turn the tide. A victory against Tottenham, can lift us out of the relegation zone and reignite belief in the fight. It’s moments that defines resilience. Today could be that spark that changes everything. “I doubt it will be, however sometimes magic happens”.

Just catching up, 😂 Forest
