  1. He’s never getting that amount of space against competent players. Bizarrely, I’m not sure you get that much space in League 2! One thing being a stand out player at such a young age, it’s another stepping into adult football and making an impact. I know people like to say he’ll be better than Ayew and BDDR, however play them against the dross at youth level and they’d look ridiculous. The game has levels. We’ve all Got one.
  2. I see it like this. I’m not convinced we’ll spend a load in an effort to get back up. We’ll spend another year stabilising the finances and utilise the younger players as squad / backup. We can again trim the wage bill for next season as I believe that Iversen, Ward and Vardy leave on free transfers. That alone generates / saves nearly £8m per annum in wages. We don’t need 4 goalkeepers. We’ve sent a large number of our academy players out on loan to gain football league experience. This will give us an indication on who is, then who isn’t ready to make the next step into life in the championship next season. Alves, Braybrooke, Cover, Young, Nelson, Marçal, Raikhy, Opuku, Popov, Ewing, Wilson-Brown, will now all have played football away from the club this season. If they don’t make the grade, we sell to a an adequate standard then move on. I believe Monga leaves as soon as he is 16 in July. With the likes of, Choudhury, Thomas and McAteer still at the club, we’ll also have people to come back in as backup players. Who will be on less than people who have had massive moves to join us. We’ll use the youth players as backup, rather than buying players. Hermansen, Soumare, Ndidi, Coady, Kristiansen, Faes, Okoli, Winks, Justin and and maybe even Skipp are sold, to generate further funds. I see that we might keep El Khannous, as apparently his wages aren’t massive and his value will only increase. Fatawu stays as he’s fresh off an injury. Could be go next Jan? Maybe. The squad I believe will look something like this. GK - Stolarkzyk, Young, Bausor LB - Thomas, Justin RB - Coulibaly, Ricardo CB - Vestergaard, Nelson, Souttar, Wilson-Brown CM - El Khannous, Cartwright, Ewing, Golding, RM - Mavididi, McAteer LM - Fatawu, Alves, FW - Reid, Ayew, Daka, Opuku The reality is that a first XI could be semi decent, we get injuries and we’ll be struggling. Mass clear out of the high earners in a squad that is bloated with average players is required though. It’s just going to be a bit painful.
  3. They made them across the group of course! We heard them all wrong. OHL Johan Mijatovic Ayumu Ohata Riggerio Nyakossi Lequincio Zeefiuk Leicester Woyo Couilbaly We heard them all wrong! It was 5 signings across the group!
  4. I’m not so sure you can make any judgement call on where we’ll finish next season currently. We’ll be significantly worse than the team that came back up last time. It’s clear Daka most likely won’t be here, then Vardy retires. Who’s scoring the goals?
  5. We are a similar size I’d imagine. The challenge we have, is that half the county follows a fairly successful rugby club, so given the choice, I’m not so sure we fill the stadium.
  6. Where do we settle in terms of Lesgue Postion, if we don’t have inspiration to be a Premier League team? We’ve clearly accepted the challenge inevitable.
  7. Does anyone understand this transfer yet? Totally bizarre and adds nothing to the squad.
  8. Just tip “Just Stop Oil” off that it’s a secret Oil refinery and they’ll get it sorted!
  9. He’s been recalled by us today.
  10. This would appear to be a very accurate description.
  11. Surely the fact we’ve rejected this, tells its own story? He’s needed here. He’s okay in the Championship. Some will disagree. He’s not going to set the world alight but he’s got fight. Similar to Choudhury, in that he cares but ability just isn’t at the level we aspire to be at.
  12. Top is the Chairman. Whelan (who’s hardly around) runs the club. It is disjointed and getting a decision takes forever from what I’m told.
  13. HS-VSK went back to Bangkok as well! https://www.flightradar24.com/data/aircraft/hs-vsk
  14. Looks like the other aeroplane, HS-ABT was reskined to AirAsia.
  15. HS-KVS went back to Bangkok on Saturday, from Liverpool.
  16. Anyone on this?
  17. 6 goals last season ….. he’s not horrific.
  18. I’m guessing we’ve accepted we are going down, impending transfer ban, so we’ll need him.
  19. Chilwell joining Crystal Palace on loan. Schlupp going to Celtic.
  20. I think they see us as a bolt on to promote sport within Thailand, an extension of the “fox hunter” football project and they believe that as consumers, they’ll make the same profit, no matter if we are in the Premier League, or Championship. Yes, turnover will be down, however we are a massive risk to general trading. If we operate safely within our financial income, we’ll settle as a mid to top half championship club and look to use Seagrave to generate income through selling talented individuals we produce. Whoch is great, however I don’t think they’d counted on the massive growth in Nottingham Forest, so we’ll lose talent to them. It’s already happening.

    I meant to type United
  22. Massively concerning if so. Basically means we are screwed.
  23. If we sign no one today, it just makes the inevitable even more realistic. We desperately need a shot in the arm to put some life into an already dire situation. We are going down like a boxer who’s been paid to take a dive.
