Rodgers played Amartey though. He was doggo. Vestergaard isn’t the person you want on the halfway line, like you wouldn’t want Maguire there either. Play a system and tactics that suits, we’ll be okay.
-
Potential points deduction. Weaker squad on paper currently than what went down. Questionable mental strength. Potentially need to add 6 - 9 players, depending upon your opinions. Shoe stringer budget to to finance restrictions. Might need to sell players to comply with those finance restrictions. How do you think we’ll do?
-
Yes, 100% agree. Ideally we’d bring in around 8 - 9 players, however this isn’t what we are capable of. Survival is the key next season. We are going to re-build slowly. We can’t change every cog in the machine, as we have our hands tied to a degree.

I’m not having he can’t head a ball https://www.squawka.com/en/comparison-matrix/?compare=U0l6Jrw_KjoNCoVp4Uxqd Of the top 5 (debatable) centre backs in the league, he’s at 72.3% aerial duel wins. His ground duels are where he struggles.

Apparently Madrid want rid and Fulham are interested for £20m-ish. They’ll have two ex Leicester defenders in their back line that we let go for free then.
-
He didn’t show any ability playing for Southampton in the Premier League, Internationally or at any point in the Championship.
-
Different times, different coach. I’m willing to give him a chance but he needs a partner with pace; whose first name isn’t Wout.
-
Just to put his goals into context, so it’s not masked by what you saw last year. 117 Championship games, 38 goals. 195 League One / Two games, 54 goals. He’s not a forward and for £20,000,000, I’d rather we hunt elsewhere for someone that can provide upscale value.
-
He reminds me of Craig Mackail-Smith. We wanted him and he had a few good seasons but was largely average. If we pay £20m for him, we have learnt nothing.

Shane Flynn not happy then!! -
They will do. I’d imagine Chelsea or Arsenal will effectively drop the home time between them and go and play it somewhere like the MetLife Stadium (New Jersey / New Jersey). East Coast - Easy / shorter flight times from the UK. 8ish hours? Close to a major City - Easy to get tourists attending. Decent capacity - 82500, would be a sell out like it has when previous Premier League teams have played friendlies. Temperatures / climate aren’t that different to the UK at the right time of year.
-
Home supporters will ….. I’m not flying to the US to watch a game. You’ve only got to look at the NFL games that were played at Wembley. I turned up to watch one and had no idea what was going on. It was full though, as it was meant to be a spectacle. The most boring sports match I’ve ever attended.

I think most at the club expected Daka to leave. I’ll admit I’ve not seen lots of him but my general opinion is that his actual finishing is quite good, however he shoots a lot and tries to take chances that aren’t on, so these get blocked. He doesn’t really press that effectively and his off the ball movement isn’t as good as Daka / Vardy. He doesn’t get himself into those positions that Daka / Vardy get to miss the chances we get frustrated about. I can’t really comment on his link up play when dropping deeper, so not sure how he compares to Iheanacho. I can see why he hasn’t got game time compared to the other three.

John Fury is everything that is wrong with boxing. He’s part of the circus with Misfits boxing.
-
I really, really hope so.
-
Interesting he was in Como and got invited by Wise to the promotion party. They might just have been on holiday at Lake Como, however it would be a nice place to retire ……
-
You’d think Leeds / Southampton get the job done at home. I’d fancy Southampton to then beat Leeds in the final.
-
Could he end up at Como? Certainly worse places to live!
-
Vardy and Wise together in Italy.

I’m going to go out when it’s cooled down a bit this evening. I’ve just eaten a takeaway and a packet of penguins, so I need to let those settle first!

Israel, Ukraine, Korea, Mayamar, Maghreb, Sudan, Ethiopia, Mexico, Somalia, Syria etc They’re all boiling pots that are waiting to overspill for a while. Whichever side you were on, violence is not the answer. We all know this, however the primal reaction is to fight and flex muscle. The concern is how far will people go. You’ve only got to look how long it took us to get some level of peace in Ireland.
