Maybe it’s just me, but I think an email illustrating that no season ticket payments are due would be better if it didn’t start with the phrase “thank you for renewing your season ticket “.

Had exactly this. I’m absolutely beyond fuming. What the hell is wrong with these people? Whoever is in charge of ticketing should be sacked for this utter debacle.

Excluding the 15/16 season in its entirety, this is easily my favourite LCFC memory. An absolute joy. Going to sound like a right old git but football was actually better in those days. Players smoked 20 a day and we didn’t have to listen to clueless fvcking idiots ringing in to 5 Live to discuss tedious nonsense like financial fair play or sporting directors.

The running fox badge is my favourite, and the mock-ups above look absolutely stunning, but I feel like it’s a bit wrong to not have our proper, current club crest on the shirt, even if it does look absolutely mint.

Only just realised we’re playing in the same division as Bromley next season. Aren’t they pretty much AFC Barwell in terms of stature? Christ.

I swear the KP out lot are just a noisy minority. Nobody I speak to in real life shares this view. I admit Foxestalk appears to indicate a different balance of opinions but I reckon this place is just radicalising people now. It’s an echo chamber of anti KP sentiment.

This is it. It feels like more of a chore than fun now. I haven’t had that buzz for a while. But I think this is mainly to do with our crowd being so crap. It’s just a negative, horrible place to be.

I’m not renewing, but probably for different reasons to most. Aside from the practical issue of struggling to get to games these days, I feel disconnected from the fan base as much as the club. I’m also - truth be told - falling out of love with modern football. At the top level anyway. It’s just become a tedious, soulless entertainment product. It’s getting worse every season. I feel like these days we’ve forgotten what it means to be a football fan. Fans are too concerned with the business side of clubs rather than supporting the team of 11 players. I didn’t become a football fan to debate about the nuances of financial sustainability rules or the merits of different staff structures. Being a football fan now is basically just whinging about a company’s HR policies and accounting practices. Next season when I don’t have my ST, I don’t know how much football I’ll actually watch. Probably not a lot.

Lads, if you think we’re getting peak Alex Ferguson, you need to calibrate your expectations a bit.
