Those Leeds tears are fantastic to see.

The Running Thread (formerly How fast can you run a 5k?)

Ran the Draycote Water half marathon in 1:40hrs. Very happy with this considering I did a mock run a few weeks ago at sub 1:50hrs. Last 5 miles I just ran as fast as I could. Almost vomited over the finish line. Funnily enough, Ian Stringer was the race tannoy -
Next Seasons Squad - Can we now talk about it?

Yes, I know realistically we won't be doing that much business. I'm listing what we need. -

I'm not convinced about this squad for the PL. We need lots of new starters/those who will actually impact us off the bench. X2 CBs RB (no more Choudhury playing there, he does a job but that won't cut it in the prem) X2 CM A winger (maybe two?) X2 strikers Lot of dead wood to chuck out. Hopefully that gives us the wiggle room to get more players. I don't know how restricted we will be in terms of PSR breaches and whether we'd have to make do with what we have. -

Thank you. I've become slightly addicted to running. This time last year running beyond 5k was an absolute no no. -

Got a half marathon next month. Did 13 miles on the dot today with a time of sub 1hr44. Sub 1hr45 was my initial aim. 1.40 might be a bit of stretch but I'm very chuffed with the time today. -
Went to watch Rugby Town for the second time this season. I've been getting into non-league football over the last two years and Rugby play in the division below Kettering. They drew 1v1 and only have a couple of games left to ensure they survive. Can't believe Rushden and Diamonds have a chance of survival. I'm sure only 3/4 months ago they had single digit points and looked doomed (first game I watched at Rugby Town was RD beating them 3v0 odd). But by God, the standard was terrible. Such a drop off from Kettering/Coalville level. Constant hoof ball at every opportunity (I know Rugby are one of the worst teams in the division). However, good little set up at Rugby.

Enzo needs to be careful - the dangerous spiral
maynefox replied to Collymore's topic in Leicester City Forum
I found my first game watching Leicester (Cardiff at home) was dull and boring and Cardiff were actually the better team. I was bored during that match but felt I couldn't say anything in fear of being shot down. I was never truly won over by his style of play and as your initial post mentioned, there were glaring warning signs of tactical inflexibility. Fair play for having the guts to write this early on (and for taking the pelters that came with it!). -
Yes you're right. What happened to that Danish bloke? Supposed he got binned after relegation. What does it matter anyway? Half of the set piece takers can't ever get it past the first man.
-
Blackburn away, Faes, the last time we scored from a set piece header? I was thinking the same. I want to see my crosses to challenge the opposition but who are we aiming for? A midget Daka half the time!

Enzo Out? Time for an official thread/poll

Not much point sacking him now. Whatever happens this season, he must go at the end. Most out of depth, stubborn manager we've ever had at this club? He's arrogant, but not so much as Rodgers. -
He can moan all he wants at the officials. He did the exact thing at Millwall, went straight to the Ref after the end of the game. Arrogant knob! This is all his doing due to his stubbornness
-
How many of our players genuinely want to be at this club? I'd probably guess 2 max right now. This whole club is rotten from top to bottom.
-
More like he strayed into the Atlantic Ocean, his timing was that poor
-
That's it. Game over. As always, can anyone see us getting back into this game? I was there at Millwall and this is just a carbon copy. Getting bullied by Plymouth now and the players look like they don't have a clue
-
I don't mean this as a confrontational post, but I'd genuinely like to know why a large section of that away end were applauding the players off the pitch after that? Have we become so accepting of our position on and off the pitch that fans think the players deserve a round of applause after that garbage?

Leicester 1-1 Ipswich Post Match Thread

Unacceptable second half performance. Just like the reverse fixtures: far too casual play when we really needed to be more contained. Subs came when, like 77 minutes? It was glaringly obvious the team were knackered. -
Boring. Laboured. Predictable. He won't be here this time next year.

That's what you get for playing two broomsticks for 65 mins

Get vardy and assadei off. So shit tonight
-
Assadei.
-
Interesting take! We have just signed Leon Clarke 🤣
-
I'm generally against booing and sacking non league managers. This isn't thr EFL where you can change a manager and hope there is an increase in quality. However, I may have to renege on my view. There is literally zero midfield. The players don't give a toss big time. At least last year there was some fight. When the ball is lost there are 5 players still in attacking positions leaving us with no central midfield. No one tracking back. Awful.
-
We gave it a go. Some good stuff tonight. Plenty of positives. Didn't get anything from that awful ref today. Roll on Sunday!
-
Casadei awful. So lacklustre on the ball. Not been convinced by him at all this season
