I’d assume that figure is down to length of contract he has with them

I’m not 1 to jump on the team sheet dissecting but if Alves and Golding are training with the 1st team but not even making the bench then they need to be playing in these games to showcase themselves in match play otherwise what’s the point of them -
Ohh I get that as I’m not a knee jerk reactionist, I’m pointing towards those that are that big up the club 1 minute then saying they are shite the next 🤷♂️
-
The team we were / should aspire to be again 🤷♂️

I thought Brighton were the poster team on FT ?

He is our today’s Robbie Savage, limited in the technical aspects & needs to be used in the way that suits his attributes. If he was told to man mark x star player id imagine he’d come away MotM or if told to cover the defence chopping in tackles he’ll have a decent game. He couldn’t do that yesterday as him and Skipp were being played around by 3 Newcastle midfielders all who have good quality, Ruud probably should have made a tactical change earlier as their midfield just over run us. Hamza needs 1 job, preferably in a 3 man midfield just like Savage with Lennon & Izzet

Think you could do a similar list for most clubs
-
Hope that’s Mavadidi getting hooked
-
Covering his near post as he should be, those 2 goals were as much my fault as they were Wards and I don’t rate him either

Mavadidi assist

The shit farmers are getting all because the green eyed monster sees asset wealth despite the industry being cash poor. Isn’t passing on land a moot point with regards to actual wealth if the off spring retain that land to farm which is probably what they will do, why do we want them to have to sell to pay inheritance tax until there is nothing to sell and our countryside and ability to naturally produce our own food is covered in bricks and mortar? Principal? yeah lets fight for payrises of industries that provide a bad service, lets give bonuses to industries to get their employees to work 5 days week etc. Regardless of farming type they receive pennies in the pound for the graft they put into producing food for our plates, glasses and exports. A cattle farmer will tend to a cow from birth to slaughter yet receive little over double for the entire cow than a chef in london will charge for a single steak meal, a steak they have had for under 12hrs but let’s all rise up & be sad when a restaurant has to close its doors. What is it they say will happen when the bee becomes extinct?

Harry Simmons having to retire at the age of 27 due to an eye injury sustained during a game is what makes me so mad with football in that a hand on the back or finger on the face will drop a footballer resulting in a freekick and potential yellow card, it really boils my pee. In other news Pollard might be on the move in the summer, been nice whilst we had him proper world class player along with Montoya also leaving they are serious boots to fill. Not sure Shillcock whilst steady has that X factor but really looking forward to seeing Jamie Blamire come in and grow.

Officials gave a little extra time to help them out but hung in for a great point & with Everton and Palace having tough games tomorrow should keep the ladies of the bottom.
-
How many minutes of extra time we predicting or will it just be until Chelsea score again? 6 😂

Liverpool setting up a long haul pre-season to play a number of friendlies in Japan and Hong Kong. These clubs continue to cry about fixture congestion and fatigue with little down time for player recovery both physically and mentally but will flog their own cash cows to squeeze every dime out of them with little safe guarding regard whatsoever then cry wolf.

Quit pro que…But how many on here were willing us to buy him due to his numbers believing Ipswich had stole a march on us. Cannons about to turn 22 Szmodics is 29 but Cannon potentially could reach those same numbers that had all those posters pining & still have 7yrs to get better.
-
He’s currently 8/16 if he continues at that rate finishing with 24 that would have put him 2nd highest scorer in the championship in both the past 2 seasons and 3rd in the previous to those, which means he would have out performed our own JV & Gyokeres who’s about to get a move for 100m or something daft just 1 season later. He's on a good run rate and a full season loan will do him good. It’s actually a very good exercise to look at those championship scoring charts because there are quite a few names in there that topped out at the 10-14 mark yet are being lorded in the premier league. He’s got plenty of time to grow + I often read on here about players growing and really kick on when playing with/around better team mates, are our players better than Stokes?

Draper still marked down with unknown injury when looking up women’s super league injuries, can anyone shed any light on what the issue is and expected returns because that’s best part 3 mths now so are we looking at a nasty knee injury but if so why does it seem to be guarded?
-
Agree just seems a big jump from where he is to a supposed top 7 team
-
Very bad management & judgement from Oliver if that is taken at face value. On the loan surely we only went in for a 6mth / short term contract to cover for Daka and any possible injury to Vardy during the same period knowing Ayew would be the only back-up. I’m confident he’ll be going back in January although out somewhere else by the sounds of it.

The rags have McKenna as potential replacement at Spurs if they pull the trigger on Ange, which would be quite interesting. I doubt Spurs will but if they did would it be a huge surprise to find McKenna as their #1 target and then would McKenna jump mid season? Surely Spurs aren’t looking at him due to this seasons showing so they are going off championship potential would be very risky considering I imagine they could entice a bigger name. Then McKenna himself, seems loyal to Ipswich so big call to leave them in the lurch but also his stock, weird saying that as Spurs (potentially) after him, must be dropping and Spurs aren’t looking at part of that 7. Yes if Ipswich dropped and they shock hands for him to depart would he get a top 7 pick, I’d say not so big call if it was to happen in January.

When will broadcasters learn that the so called mouth water games they all peddle are usually the worst games of the round & so it proves again after 30minutes of Arsenal v Man U 🥱

Beckham, Scholes, Cantona must have & there must be a few others from the SAF era as well as Rooney & Giggs mentioned already above

Modern football(er’s) was watching the Salford City class of 92 program and saw them all but laying rose petals in front of Louie Barry’s feet as he walked into their boardroom when he was 19 and Salford were in Lge 2 as they were trying to get him on loan. He also turned up in a brand new top of the range Mercedes, a 19yr old on loan player playing in Lge 2, they don’t have to graft that much once they have signed that 1st professional contract & most will believe they are above the rest of us in social standings. Not saying Louie was like that just using him as an example of how modern footballers are treated from an early age.
