There's no such thing as perfection in life. Cars. Houses. Footballers. Relationships. Shoes. It doesn't matter. Nothing is perfect. But I honestly believe that this guy, for our club and our style of football, is about as close as a goalkeeper could come to that mark.

Agree. But thought Amartey had a great cameo, too.

Wirh the exception on N'Didi, he just sums up our recent recruitment. Totally underwhelming.

Birch taken ill at awards ceremony
TrentFox replied to LinekersApples's topic in Leicester City Forum
He's The Birch - I strongly suspect he was probably still talking even when he was unconscious? -
I had a weird event today. I was working in London with a client near Oxford Circus. I cut through John Lewis and swear I saw Peter Taylor stagger past me in the store. But it was weird. He looked like a shell of a man. Absolutely washed out, gaunt, on death's door. I'd be 95% certain it was him. Anyone know anything about him / his health?

My son is 11 and only really got the passion for footie three years ago. Since then, he's lived and breathed a promotion, the great escape and now winning the PL. I've tried to explain to him that supporting Leicester isn't normally like this!!!

Loving the Utd fans ( at least, I think it's them), singing "you nearly won the league" to the Spurs fans. Could get used to this.

That Villa piece is absolutely spot on. Clever analogy.

My week was the same. All week with Bradford council and Barnsley NHS. Every person who engaged me about football said virtually the same thing - that we are the second result they look for each week. I think that if we could pull this of it would be the most popular title win in PL history.
-
That's just insane. They talk more glowingly about us than we do!!! Can you ever imagine if we were going for the title and then wishing our competitor won it instead of us, just because it would make a great story? Wow! What must it be like being a top side every season - how the other half live. Actually, to hell with that .... let's go find out!!
-
You sure that isn't from our forum with a few R's crests thrown in to fool us all????
-
Most are more gracious in defeat than the majority we've beaten this season.

Thought he was immense last night.

Given that the clappers are now part of the furniture at the ground, surprised we haven't come up with something that is unique for them. Something clever and impactful rather than just having them clapping along to everything. Any creative types out there?
-
To be fair, they'll struggle to play all of the top four.

"A team that either look like bouncers, or people that pick fights with bouncers". Absolute quality.

Plaudits for our Atmosphere, let's keep it up
TrentFox replied to Weller in Tights's topic in Leicester City Forum
But the point is that they don't! For god knows what reason, people who won't contribute with their hands will when they are given a piece of cardboard. So give them cardboard. Give them twigs. Give them a pair of old socks. Whatever it takes to keep the atmosphere bubbling and the players playing. -

Thanks. Still an absolute bargain in my eyes. To buy an atmosphere for that little is great value. Can't believe they haven't taken off with more regularity elsewhere. -

Can anyone in the industry put a price on the cost to supply clappers for a home game ?? £5k ????? If someone said we could have the best home atmosphere in the league for that amount, would you take it ??? I'd snap your hand off if I was an owner. -
All of which begs the question of the 3-4-1-2 from last season. Round pegs in round holes, anyone?
-
Ian Banks. Totally forgot about him.
-
To be fair, the differences are minimal.

The diction thing is funny. Once used a DVD clip we'd made/filmed of a community project from Stoke, where we'd been working, as part of a global conference in US. When we sent it to the States so they could get it prepped up for presentation, it came back with a memo saying 'we don't understand a word they are saying'. We had to get it subtitled to play to a predominantly English speaking audience.

I have no idea if that's true, but I for one will always refer to him, henceforth, as 'The Enforcer'. Fantastic.

Planes tend to fuel up with sufficient for their destination + contingency, rather than carrying around unnecessary fuel which adds weight and in effect burns up more fuel!
