  1. Thanks for that insight ?
  2. There’s nothing to “give a rest” to. I’m neither condemning nor condoning. It is simply a piece of opinion I’m passing on from someone who has worked wirh him previously. In terms of your “mollycoddled” comment, probably best we just disagree. I suspect your theories on human motivation differ from mine and I’m not sure we’ll easily find some common ground.
  3. Disharmony. According to my contact. Players didn’t like him or his training methods. Cold and distant seems to be their verdict. Is he going to appease a disgruntled Vardy? We’ll see. Maybe keeping Appleton is a good move. Asssuming the players like him and find him amenable. They certainly seem to have played for him these last two fixtures.
  4. If we buy them on a credit card, aren’t we entitled to a 30-day cooling off period? ?
  5. He watched us play at the start of the season and assumed many of our players were visually impaired, so he had his name embossed in Braille to maximise his chances of receiving a pass.
  6. Endless images? What did I miss that I’m far to lazy and self-important to go back and read?? ?
  7. This thread has gone awfully surreal since I was last here!!!!
  8. A couple have already said it in last few posts, but we can never be the best in the world when we play a brand of football that most of the world is better at than we are! England should take a lesson from our title winning season and invent a way that maximises what we have rather than emphasises what we don't have! I think I'll probably die before I get to see Henderson play a killer through ball after ten minutes of aimless passing back and forth across the halfway line.
  9. Yeovil Town?
  10. His feet are absolutely minuscule!!!
  11. Yes. And they're all still talking about you and your trainers.
  12. Seems to be resolved. Well done, if that was someone in here?
  13. Snap. Becoming a real pain. Anyone know how to stop?
  14. Wouldn't it be simpler and cheaper to relocate the TV gantries to the west stand then develop the, (allegedly), cheaper east side option ?
  15. Did they even know the game was on tonight??
  16. Ah! The bed-wetters thread. FFS !!!!
  17. Not good at potentially PL level. Most players have a preferred foot. But I was amazed he even used his left for walking.
  18. Did okay, but looks seriously one-footed.
  19. I can remember being in the loo that day in pen 3 I think. Sure one of the goals was a header straight in front of me ?? As you say, a magical period. Felt like you were actually part of the game.
  20. Horrific. A nightmare scenario in every way. Overwhelming.
  21. In terms of breaking it down by cities, that puts Leicester 4th in the UK. I like that.

    Musa

Ha! Classic FT thread that turns to infighting. Love it. For what it's worth, I think all relationships start off with lofty ambitions. Whether they are personal relationships, new team members at work or players at our club. But between starting out and wherever those relationships are right now, we are all evaluating 'how is this going'? In the case of Musa, many people, myself included, think it's going hopelessly! In all relationships at that point, each side considers whether to carry on or cut their losses. If Musa was my wife, (!!!), the divorce papers would have been served from my perspective. At some point, we all look at said relationship and ask ourselves 'is this going to get better'. In Musa's case, I just don't see it. Our club will probably take a financial hit, if they come to the same conclusion. I doubt anyone on here will be celebrating that? But if the monies from his possible departure can be channeled into a player that contributes to our recent successful period, then there is real cause for celebration. Not revelling in an individual's demise. Just wanting our club to maximise its effectiveness.
  24. "£17m spunked up the wall" would probably be my summation.
  25. So many hysterical items in this. Vardy being 'rat nonce' brightened my mornjng. The fact that they write in dialect, even more so. But the weirdest thing is that they watched every second of our game - right to the very end. Yet when they go to watch their own team, they give up and go home after an hour!!??! ?
