Well, to be honest, I think we’ve been poor. Playing at a soft tempo, not getting into the derby thing at all. Conservative, cautious football. It’s not us at our worst, but it’s a long way from our best.

What has transpired here is utterly loathsome. Sickening. But it absolutely does not tarnish all Leicester fans. That’s just ridiculous. Like any other collective of supporters, at any other club, ours will be appalled by this. To insinuate that, in some way, it is reflective of our supporters is as offensive as it is naive.

Daka is physically weak, gets pushed off the ball easily and has a poor first touch. But right now, and I surprise myself saying this, he looks easily our best option up top. We’ve been kicking the forward problem ‘can’ down the road for a long time, now. Daka’s contribution to the goal was good. Whereas Nacho’s entire cameo was absolutely pathetic.

His ‘blips’ with the ball are becoming a regular feature.

That was the most average performance imaginable. Totally dull for most of the game. But even so, 12% of people think the manager of the team double-digits clear at the top should leave?! Wow! 😳

So. As a massive Daka-doubter, (and someone who’s been managing an end of life friendship all week and hasn’t seen a moment of today's game), was he really good or is this the usual FT knee-jerk bollox the moment anyone does anything half-decent? I’m a city fan, desperate for my club to be successful. I’ll happily eat any amount of humble-pie if required. But I’m not quite ready to tuck in on the back of a home win against bottom of the league Rotherham. Those who actually aren’t fan-boys AND saw the game, whaddya reckon? A decent striker reborn? Or another false dawn???

Where do you really think we will finish this season? We all hope for the title, obvs, but I'm genuinely curious what everyone's actual expectation is.
