I think people are getting way ahead of themselves with Mads. He’s undoubtedly been at the heart of the transformation in our play and shown himself to be calm, skilled and a good shot-stopper. But at no point this season has he come under the extreme pressure he will do next season, (all being well), with tidal waves of attacks, better and more challenging crosses into his space, bigger, stronger and more athletic strikers etc etc. Let’s give him a chance to grow into that level before setting him up on this particular pedestal?

That goal is what many of us have been wanting to see added to our game. Nobody with half-a-brain wants revolution to our game ….. we’re running away with the league, FFS. But to add that extra dimension to our attacking play, where we play balls a fraction earlier and with a fraction more risk is bang on. Great goal. Great day 👍

Probably all of the above. Also, maybe some legacy from the depressing football we served up last season? Last season was excruciating to watch as it unfolded. This season, we’ve all got used to winning again- but it still feels like ‘we shouldn’t be here’ which in turn gives rise to a feeing of ‘just getting back on an even keel’, rather than the elation of the last promotion that took us somewhere we’d almost forgotten existed. 🤷 Finally, speaking for myself, the football is a long way from exciting to watch! I know many on here do enjoy it, but personally I don’t - which makes the game all about the result, as less enjoyment is drawn from the style in which that result is obtained. 🤷😞

Lucky pen. Daka is NOT quick! Time to lay that myth to rest.
