  1. Get in! Game on!!!
  2. We don’t half shit the bed as a collective supporter base as soon as a couple of results don’t do our way.
  3. **** off Swansea, always hated South Wales and whatever shithole Che Adams comes from…
  4. I saw that this afternoon and thought it’s got to be worth a tenner - kicking myself now.
  5. South Korea down 2-1 against Jordan at halftime. I fancied Jordan this afternoon, but forgot to put a couple of quid on it. Outsiders for the tournament and a decent team, well organised and play some good football at times.
  6. Come on you Swans! Always loved South Wales!
  7. On the first point, one or two players is down to the players themselves, to be in a position where it was 8 or 9 players is 100% on the club - and at the end of the day, whoever is responsible Rudkin oversees the football side of the club and will rightly take the flack. Point 2, and this is the one that really gets me in the whole situation and why I bone Rudkin the most for our relegation. Rodgers came out and stated the players he had were not good enough and he needed new players or we would struggle - now at this point, Rudkin as the person in charge of football operations had 2 choices: 1) agree with Rodgers and back him in the transfer market - maybe take a loss on one or two players and bring in some fresh faces or 2) tell him he’s full of shit and sack him and bring someone on who could have got a tune out of the players we had available. He chose neither, he buried his head in the sand and didn’t act until it was almost too late. Point 3, given we went by 2 points on the last day of the season and could easily have gained those points - there is no way a pawn was brought in to get us relegated - this was worst case scenario for the club from a business point of view. Agree regarding the fees for Madison and Barnes - that business just had to get done early to set up for the new season. Finally, one scapegoat is the man at the top of the chain who is ultimately paid handsomely to be responsible for all of these decisions, he signs off on everything at the end of the day is ultimately responsible for everything football side of the business. The fact he never speaks to the media or answers questions makes things far worse in my opinion.
  8. Why would we send him back two days before a big game when we have 2 first team players in his position out injured? That makes no sense at all.
  9. If he can get fit, all of the attributes he has suit the way Enzo wants to play. He can be hugely valuable in this system. The biggest problem will be getting him fit and ready to play 19 games. With no Ndidi and Casadei now gone, we are going to need him to get fit and ready.
  10. Could we move Justin over to the right, Doyle on the left Ricardo as the 8. Hermansen Justin Faes Vestergaard Doyle Winks McAteer Ricardo Yunus Mavididi Cannon
  11. Anyone fancy potting the mysterious golden ball for a bonus 20 points - in a frame you’ve already won easily. Not sure why we need to keep changing sport$, but this is almost the most ridiculous rule change I’ve ever heard.https://www.bbc.com/sport/snooker/68027678
  12. Just a thought, but now we are out of the PL, are we able to do the fancy pitch designs again?
  13. I see that, but it’s the same with the Euros, the World Cup and all other tournaments. More teams devalues the tournament, when it comes to the finals it should be the elite. Hong Kong for example are outside the worlds top 150 teams - they should not be participating in the finals of a major tournament. It makes for boring, predictable football where a team sits back and hopes to get a point. Then finish 3rd in your group get 2 points and you can sneak into the knockout phases. It’s rewarding mediocrity for the sake of a few extra $$
  14. Pod when you’re winning, you only pod when you’re winning!! Hope you’re all well and looking forward to next weeks pod after a win.
  15. At this stage very low, we have the Aus Open tennis on which is taking most of the media coverage. Games are also 10:30 on, 1:30am and 3:30am so not really pulling any sort of audience that isn’t already really invested. It’s also not helped that the two Australian games so far have been terrible games, although 2 wins, but I wouldn’t show either to a neutral and expect them to get excited. My other criticism of the tournament is the length of the tournament, realistically we’ve got maybe 8 teams capable of winning the tournament. There is no need for a last 16 round and 24 teams in the tournament. Some teams are awful, you could easily have had 16 teams qualify with 4 competitive groups and then straight into the quarter finals.
  16. Forget ex players, anyone seen Alex Smithies lately?

  22. On Neil Lewis, I’m sure I played against him in the Sunday League not long after he retired - early 2000s maybe. It was in the days of being crap hungover and trying to run around at 10am on a Sunday morning and the opposition turn up with Neil Lewis - I can’t for the life of me remember the team or how the game went.
