  1. How do you know?
  2. I think Skipp will be a good player for us and improves us, but was probably 5-8m over priced. Being two injuries away from a Hamza- Soumare double pivot was scary..... I think we would have spent big on forward if we could have secure our preferred target which seemed to be Ioannidis. The BCDR and Ayew signings are interesting, I think Fatawu will stay in the and Mavididi will force he's way in. Got a feeling we will see Ayew play CF as well. I think we overplayed both wingers last season and they looked knackered at time. I never thought Cooper was a good fit, but I willing to give him time for now.
  3. Pretty much the same for any side in the league outside of Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
  4. I think you have to break down the window into too parts. BCDR, Ayew and Edouard are short term now signings. Michael Golding, Caleb Okoli, and Bilal El-Khannous long term Investments Fatawu, Skipp are a bit of both. I think it's a solid window considering some of the constraints we very under. Think the number of loan out are a massive positive. Lack of hacking deadwood a negative.
  5. 100% why would you beat someone with a straw when there 100s of cricket bats you could use.
  6. To be fair, he's been in the lower league a lot of his career, he's only hit the big time in recent years. Don't think he was on massive money at Brentford, so can understand it a little more then some of the players who choose to go.
  7. They still need to meet EFL spending rules.
  8. I think all considered we have done OK.
  9. We couldn't get out main target. Better to go this way them go for some random.
  10. Gonna be busy @moore_94. Can't wait.
  11. Carrier pigeons are back in fashion I heard.
  12. Depends how much they were and whether he wanted to go. Proves their are some crazy clubs out there.
  13. If he can only scores 5 a season in that Arsenal team which dominates game after game, he's hardly going to bag up for Palace.
  14. It's limited risk as a loan.
  15. Man U desperate to get 300k a week of the wage bill. Every 10 weeks it saves them 3m.
  16. Some love being negative.
  17. Good move, if he does well and we are back in the Championship we could have a ready made spine of the team with him and Nelson
  18. Great move. Loan thread is going to be spicy.
  19. Depends how much they are paying in wages and a loan fee.
  20. To be fair how much are they paying for Eddie Nketiah who has never scored more than 5 PL in a season? Not sure I'd be laughing that hard
  21. Iversen would have left if we could tempt Nigel Martyn out of retirement.
  22. Can never have enough keepers, someone has to pick up the balls the other drop....
  23. I know, it did make me smile. But I didn't want to give you the satisfaction
  24. Thankfully there are still some footballer who play for the right reason not just there bank balance. It may not suit us, but I like players choosing were to go for footballing reasons.
