Ice cold from Nacho

Bugger

Not helped by KDH reluctance to give him the ball.
-
Sloppy again.
-
I'd get Mcateer on to help control the midfield.
-
Midfield 3 have been poor toady
-
Ndidi with a good assist too
-
Settled a little. Goal was a shock to the system.
-
Silly got caught 2 and did it again.

Crazy you could tell it was a mile on wasn't even close... Didn't even need lines.
-
Nice to see Booth get some minutes.

People putting down a kid after 325 minutes of football. Sad.
-
Was always going to be a red, over the top of the ball.

Massive opportunity to put some distance us and some of the pack.

Awesome display be Europe. But something can't be right in the US camp, very poor showing.

I don't think that is a question about his ability, it is whether he has the mentality to be a really top player. He wouldn't be the first player not to hit the height he should have done. I do wonder if he has the selfishness and desire to be the main man, he has been content to be seen as the backup man behind Vardy for 6 seasons, not sure many players of his talent would have accepted that and not looked to move on. Ps thanks for sharing the video, got to love some of our slick passages of play.

Inconsistency is the biggest issue with Nacho, he can go from the subline to Sunday league one moment to the next, I think that will frustrate Enzo as much as the fans. He also looks laboured, and you can question his work rate. Some talk of Brentford lining up Daka if Toney goes in January. I think the club would be happy to move them both on for the right price and start again.

The excuses people come up to defend Nacho. Wrong formation Only good in a two Needs to be playing with X player Needs a run of games Teams not creating enough. Sometimes you have to accept his simply not playing well. Let's hope he come good.

Would anyone have predicted Macteer would be starting game this season and have 5 goals to his name. Stranger things have happen.
-
I think he saw last night as a free hit and a chance to continue imprinting his philosophy on the squad, getting players minutes and used to patterns of play. I'm sure he would have loved a win but it felt as much as a live training exercise rather than a go all out to win. I think he has already shown adaptability to be a let more pragmatic in the games against Southampton and Norwich.

An Ivan Toney or Mitrovic-type player would be prefect.

Hardly surprisingly, we made more mistakes at the start of the season as players bedded into the new system and way of playing. It took the average starting 11, 5 or 6 games to get to grips with it and it is still a work in progress. Last night you had Soutter and Coady making their first starts, in a back 3 alongside Justin who only played 410 minutes after a long-term injury, so a back 3 who never played together. The likes of Akgun, Casadei, Hamza haven't featured much either, expecting the team last night to be fluid and not make mistakes is unrealistic Last night for me was more of a chance to get minutes into those players to boost fitness and an understanding of the style and system of play.

Better players who are more technically aware, with a world-class coach.
-
Job done not disgrace and hopefully no injuries. Daka and Souttar back in the fold with some minutes, game time for Akgun and Casadei. Another goal to boost Macteer confidence.

People jumping on a kid who isn't really match fit because he's playing cameos give him a chance.
