To play devil advocate the revenue a club makes on actually selling a shirt to fans is peanuts compared to what you get from the actually sponsor. Clubs only get between 20-5% of the money generated from shirt sales. The most important part of a shirt from a financial point of view is the sponsorship element.

Pretty sure that being happening at the club for a while, it was nothing new. Maybe it was something that was discussed when he signed and something was agreed? Which probably take you out of the market for a lot of players, we had players comutting from as far a way as Manchester when we won the PL and FA Cup. So why? I'm not sure how much you are being paid is relevant. So did we see a increase in performance when RVN brought this in from other players. So that makes a difference but have a new born doesn't? I can understand why someone would want to be a home under those circumstances. I'm not saying Winks was right or RVN was wrong, but one incident doesn't make you a bad egg.

Judge it on their body of work in 2 years I'm not convinced this will change anything.

I think it's very easy to make a judgement on snips of information. My observation would be he's attitude seem fine under Enzo and Cooper, which suggests there was more at play with RVN. I'd agree he a very good championship player and probably a OK player in a PL team which can cover for his weakness which is physicality. To honests that's not a massive rush for any of our players.
