This league is ridiculous. A short succession of wins can easily see you into the playoffs. It's an appealing club whether this season or next. But not for Russell Martin.
-
Sounds like that was Top saying it's the end for Marti but he needs to check the current legal positions and finances. No backing, no words of solace, just process. Marti is finished here. Question is who will be daft enough to come in?

Sat in Kop behind goal. Stoke fans were very loud, great support. We moaned a lot but then the referee did his best to get the home crowd going which livened things up eventually.
-
Thought most of our cards were deserved. He didn't have a particularly bad game (objectively) although the Leicester players seemed to have picked up Ayew's Fall'on d'floor techniques, which the ref cottoned on to. Stoke's players were faster and stronger than ours which for quite a fair bit of the game we couldn't handle and resorted to taking to the green carpet in protest. Quite enjoyed Luke's mismatched tussles with their right winger. Also all home fans love having a pop at the ref it's what got the atmosphere going, so cheers ref!

He's very vocal instructing his defenders all the time.

Patson is erratic. That itself makes him a threat. His unpredictability plays havoc with modern tactical systems. We have no idea what he is doing. He has no idea what he is doing. And in that, lies his skill.
-
He doesn't have any technical ability. But his erratic movement and pace means he can stretch oppositions to allow more gifted operators to exploit spaces. Like we did repeatedly today. He's a poor man's expensive Heskey with no assists. Just legs. Swansea aren't a low-block team so it kind of works. I think.

We've managed to acquire another Daka
-
We only scored bangers. Quality not quantity. Who needs 5 goals anyway.
-
2 shots on target. Better than 1 I suppose
-
I was just thinking about those Liverpool own goals almost with fondness. Then he does that a minute later.
-
Whoever made the sale of Skipp at £20+ million is an absolute genius. I understand the player doesn't set the fee, but flippin' heck this is the sort of purchase that jeopardises the financial well-being of the entire club. He's realistically going to leave the club as a free-agent in a few years time.
-
We need a Jordan Ayew Fall-o-meter score
-
Matty James made a huge difference for Wrexham. Cifuentes tried to nullify him and the inevitable Wrexham fightback but totally underestimated their talent and consequences of defending from the front. Also skipp is lost.

1 shot on target...
-
Ayew is an attacking enigma. It feels like he's not there. But he is.
-
Soumare just should not be started. I feel like i'm starting a harrasment campaign by stating this weekly. But the man is in such an important position yet shows no capability in that position. I do not believe for a second having another player in that spot instead would make things worse.
-
Soumare just cannot start anymore games it's deliberate arson at that point
-
Still better than having Soumare who couldn't find his own shadow
-
Soumare off -> Leicester improve. This man is a team destroyer. It's cheaper to let him sit on the bench and spend £15million on his wages for nothing. The alternative is NOT TO GET PROMOTED.
-
Yet another shot just passed the post! We are getting outplayed!!
-
Some opposition fans might think that. But based on actual performances, clearly no opposition manager is afraid to take us on. Results to date show that. Doesn't matter how fancy the starting 11 looks like. Just like Sheffield United - on paper a decent team, in reality no opposition is currently fearing them.
-
Surely by now nobody thinks we are 'serious' contenders. Accidental maybe, but nothing deliberate is in the works.
-
10 men. And what you really need is a player like Soumare on the pitch. Might as well play with 9. Absolute statue. Unfortunate bounce except sums up his entire Leicester City career.
-
There you go. Soumare back on duty.
