Buying too high, selling too low 😀 what could go wrong…

Besiktas confirm they are close to signing Wilfred Ndidi

maybe we try to bring in a young Premier League GK on loan as our No1? Seems to have been the blueprint for promoted teams for the last few seasons (Burnley, Southampton etc) Not sure who is available though Or we just let Jakub role with it (I think it's too early to say he's not good enough)

Wout to Monaco (loan with ~€8m option, official)

Pinch of salt -
good point. Yes he was exceptional in the Championship (I remember that save at Stoke away!) but in the Premier League and after his injury he wasn't stand out
-
If it's £16m + around £5m realistic addons then not the end of the world

yeah Percy has deffo lost his source. Don't think Tanner ever had one I think that bloke Tom Collomosse seems to be the best connected now
-
I'm still not convinced we're even in for this guy
-
What you hope and expect of him is exactly what he is a master at so it sounds like a good fit. Over the last couple of seasons he’s had spells where he’s been injured for around 6 weeks and sadly this seems to be more frequent, however the demands in English football are very heavy and maybe if they aren’t so heavy in Turkey then he can stay fit and be a key player for you

Maybe moved on from Kone

Bilal El Khannouss (Stuttgart loan, official)

agreed. Mav has to be my most frustrating player we have in the squad. On his day he's a top half Prem player but those days are few and far between. The reality is we don't need him to hit those heights every week in the Championship but just a consistent and solid performer who runs at his full back. I think you are right, he'll know there's a willing from the fans to see Monga get minutes so this could spurr him on to find some consistency. -

It's just such a gripe that we have both Winks AND Skipp...who are both a carbon copy of each other with similar limitations. If we can somehow offload one of them (Winks more likely than Skipp IMO) then we can re-mould our midfield with real strength and bring in players that the manager can trust
-
We need a 21-22yr old Wilf as a Wilf replacement. Someone maybe from Scandi or Belgian leagues (not sure who). But a strong, technical, athletic, tall midfield enforcer should be high on the priority list (probably what we thought we were getting in Soumare)

Anything above £20m + addons is a decent deal and we should hopefully get a nice pot to reinvest with that and the N’didi money
-
According to this guy West Ham have officially pulled out of the Hermansen deal due to our asking price

I think we all know the reason for that...

if there is genuine interest from Germany or the Prem then I'm not surprised he's delaying making a decision on moving to Turkey
-
he makes a good point. Wycome need to be reasonable in their asks consdering he's a free agent next Summer. They can't afford to be too greedy as a club their size can't afford an asset like this to walk on a free

I have a sickly feeling that someone like Leeds will come in for Abdul
-
Anyone know if we have a sell-on clause for KDH? Rudders?
-
do we know if his clause has a time limit on it or not? Trying to figure out if this one might drag on to deadline day or not?

Leicester is a fantastic opportunity for Kone. No disrespect to Swansea but they are unlikely to be challenging. He should be pushing his agent as hard as possible to get a deal over the line with us
