He inherited a horrendous situation, no doubt....but I've seen nothing to suggest he's capable of overcoming the problems he's inherited. I just think the guesswork has started already and that's a major concern.

Millwall 1-0 LCFC, post-match thread

Didn't even bother watching, for the second week in a row. Despise this team. -
Of all the teams we could be playing after he's made this comment. Bet the Millwall players can't wait to get stuck in to him now.

A physically imposing team of bullies taking on a team of absolute fannies - I wonder how this one will possibly turn out..... -
I think a lot of people (large groups of my own family and friends for example) can't separate the past from now. I have a massive family and literally everyone supports Leicester. I talk to my folks, my brothers and my uncles and they're almost all of the mind that as we won the league and the FA Cup under KP ownership, that they, (KP) have therefore (somehow) earned our loyalty and with that the right to work us out of our current situation. I also hear a lot about what the family have done for the city of Leicester. (Ps always interesting when I ask them to name 1 thing in the last 3 years). These are (mostly ) pretty smart people usually and yet they all think I'm an ingrate for wanting KP out so desperately - also, a lot of them are STHs and I haven't been for years. It's like it's heresy to even suggest it. I think fans like them get branded as happy clappers, but I think it comes from a place of deep gratitude - the fact that we've experienced highs and memories we all thought impossible means they feel they should be loyal to KP. I completely disagree with that logic, and it frustrates the hell out of me, but I understand it. I don't mean to sound patronising, but I think a lot of our fans are 4-5 years behind in their thinking and / or just make judgements based on sentiment and don't look at the evidence that's right in front of them (or just don't want to!). It seems folk are 'happy to have those memories' and see our current plight as some sort of cosmic pay-off that had to happen....I don't get that at all? All that said, and this might sound bizarre, but now Jamie Vardy has gone, who was that final link to those glory years, I do think some people are starting to park the past and look at the current mess for what it is. Again, only got my family and friends to base this on, but some who would never criticise the club before have commented how poorly the club is run now, so maybe the tide is turning very slowly. I suppose what I'm saying is, my experience tells me that FT is a bit of an echo chamber and the majority of fans aren't even thinking about pushing for a change of ownership. I genuinely hope I'm wrong!

In my opinion, it's pretty simple. We know how bad Faes is because we've had to endure watching him for several years, we don't yet know how good Nelson can be. To persist with Wout over Ben is criminal.
-
He's got mostly the same sack of shit to work with as the last three managers, that's really difficult. However, he's getting more wrong than he is right - that's my concern. If I can take one look at the starting 11 last night and KNOW (and I don't mean 'think', I mean actually know) that the team won't win or even perform effectively....why can't he see that? That was guesswork last night, and when a manager starts throwing everything up in the air hoping something might stick, that's a bad sign.
-
Let's not do it to ourselves Worse still, you could work out his daily rate and how much we've paid him to do **** all for however many years it is. I can't bring myself to do it.....

https://www.tickcounter.com/countdown/7874727/days-until-were-soumare-free It's getting closer. Just 251 days left on my whendoessoumare****off o'meter.

Patson, Soumare, Faes....so hard to support the team when these useless gimps are playing every week on massive wages. I absolutely despise them. Can't wait for the day all 3 are gone.
-
I hope you're right, and I'm wrong. Genuinely.
-
I might get massively shot down for this but I think realistically, there isn't really anything you can do about it. I think fans can hound out managers, I don't think they can with owners, not really. I'm not saying it's impossible, I just think it's actually very rare. We just have to hope KP goes tits up ASAP
-
He's not very good, but the problems run so much deeper than Marti. While those two useless ***** run the club, it doesn't matter who the manager is.
-
£22m and £80k a week....for a guy with was talent than Mark de Vries.
-
Seems like a nice bloke, but a bit shit at management. I've not seen much on the pitch to get excited about. I'd rather we had an absolute bellend in charge who knew what he was doing.

I saw the line up and didn't bother watching. Honestly, I'd recommend it. -
That's a disgusting line up. Can't be arsed watching this.

That's ideal!

LCFC 1-1 Portsmouth - Post Match Thread
Tielemans63 replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
Thought Pompey were well worth a point, if not all 3. Not the first side to arrive at the KP and realise 45 minutes in that there is absolutely nothing to fear with this Leicester City side. We may have big names (for the division) but they don't have the stomach for a fight. Easy second half for your boys. -
Genuinely....I don't know how Daka has made it as a professional. Let alone, got to this level. He can't do anything.
-
Please stop playing him, Marti. Stop being a dick.
