Leicester 'could face points deduction next season'
LcFc_Smiv replied to ClaphamFox's topic in Leicester City Forum
Was just coming on to post that I feel we need to hit the reset button, owners, manager and players. But sounds like we might be getting the ultimate reset, one of those FM saves where you try and win back to back promotions 7 years in a row to get in the prem -
True, with the emotions of today I was sure we’d been relegated, forgot automatics is still down to us
-
The fact is it was in our own hands and we f***ed it big time, we shouldn’t ever have been in a situation where we were expecting favours from other clubs.
-
Their class to watch, so quick to move the ball and everything is done with intent! That ball from Chaplin out wide on the move, keeper should do better
-
Just said to the Mrs we’d have controlled it to go backwards or out to the wide players. As shit as we are at the moment I love watching other teams give it a go!
-
This has been the same for me, I’ve not massively enjoyed the football but I could see what we were doing and the purpose of it all. To come back after an international break with everything that has gone on over the past two weeks, churn out that performance while still persisting with the exact same system and style of play stubbornly through 90 mins, while making 2 subs only with so many questionable performances was more than enough for me today. The smirk, jokes and pouting his lips while the interviewer was talking to him hammered the nail in the coffin.

He’s not said anything as such, just smiled smugly and gave very relaxed jokey responses to some questions. I think the concern is he gives an ‘all is fine’ vibe. -
He could be crying to the media again come Monday evening, turning something similar out against Norwich at home might just provoke a bit more an aggravated response from the stands at the moment.

I don’t disagree, but the magnitude of Fatawus today was worse than anything I’ve seen for a long long time. -

I genuinely cannot remember a performance as bad as Fatawu’s was today. Ineffective, turned possession over needlessly, and the amount of times the ball goes out of play around him is beyond bonkers, is he not anticipating, does he not pay attention I don’t get it! -
This guy has been rotten for a while now.
-
I take it all back, the manager and the players deserve a f***ing hammering after this. How can you turn out this performance after all that went on in the past few weeks. We don’t have a clue.
-
As if he’s only used two subs at this stage, it’s shite, his stubbornness is going to cost us.
-
It’s all too blasé, no conviction or intent in anything we do, the passes and crosses are tickled rather than driven, we roll over on any contact, we let simple touches and passes go out of play without any care. It’s all so complacent and it stems from the manager.
-
If ours weren’t fouls that wasn’t a pen, happy for that to be the level of consistency providing it’s the same for both teams

Not that I'm knocking the bloke but he mentioned about having to adapt and have a plan B in pre-season, something at the time we all praised him for in comparison to Rodgers. When have we seen that at all this season? I appreciate his comments but I'll take it with a pinch of salt.
-
Not sure it's revisionism or just the fact that some of us are aware it's hard to judge a player off their past few seasons under the previous management considering, the whole team was a shambles around them, they didn't get a consistent opportunity, and were largely played in a role that hadn't previously being conducive to their success. He's also a player who is on our books, one that we know we are most likely going to struggle to offload, is it daft to see what he could do under this current manager? I personally am happy to reserve judgement.

Yes, they said that's a next week problem -
Still find it hard to judge this guy on what we saw in his time here with the majority of it being under Rodgers and his run in the team coinciding with a number of higher rated players who quickly seemed to lack interest in the cause. I don't think he's a world beater, but I also wouldn't begrudge him being given another chance and happy to reserve judgement until then.

Championship team of possible transfers. Who has impressed you?
LcFc_Smiv replied to Kinowe Soorie's topic in Transfer Talk
Think most have been mentioned but: Jacob Greaves Michal Helik Jordan James Jonathon Rowe Tom Fellows Liam Millar There's some talent in this league, I know a number of people on here have complained about the standard but I've enjoyed watching a number of teams in fixtures not involving us. -

As predicted a 49:05, not too disappointed would have liked to gone quicker but I had nothing more to give. Right shin is agony so some down time and work in the gym for the next 7 days. Hope anyone else who ran today has gone on well. -

Wakefield 10k tomorrow, my first race of the year, and the start of a busy few months. I’ve accumulated more KM’s in the build up to this than any other run and then went on a silly 5k at the start of the week in some different trainers and now my shin is in pieces. The aim was to run sub 48 mins with my PB being 47:28, I reckon I’ll be closer to the 49 min mark but here’s hoping. -
Norwich on the Monday should be rocking no excuses. We’ve been here before where the stands have fed off this backs against the walls situations, I guess now it’s time to see whether our support has been as watered down as we have feared. For each 90 minutes we need to put aside our opinion of those upstairs at the club, and as you say, adopt a real F you all attitude while backing the lads on the pitch.
