  1. Leeds fans will tell you they scored one of the greatest goals in a playoff final despite it hitting the bar.
  2. I think you’ll find he massively loves Leicester!
  3. I know he’s had a decent season, but Championship player of the year? Has Summerville delivered in any of the big games this year? Everytime I watch him you think what’s all the hype about?
  4. Congratulations that’s a huge PB! We have just driven back from a wedding in Manchester and I had serious envy watching people make there way down to the start this morning! Well done again, that’s a cracking run.
  5. Mad how people see things. Regardless of what’s happened to them over recent seasons, Chelsea are a big club and a very attractive prospect, especially for a manager like Enzo. The size of the project, the salary, the playing staff, the resources, the location, it would make no sense for him not to be interested. The higher powers of the club maybe a bit of a negative, but rumours here suggest he doesn’t have that strong a relationship with our board and directors. He may also be sacked at Christmas by Chelsea, but that’s also a real possibility here, at least with Chelsea he will have a nice new contract with a far bigger termination clause. I know this is a Leicester forum, but we all look at it through blue tinted glasses. As is said above, at the end of the day it’s a job and football is no different to anywhere else, if you have an opportunity to increase your income while undertaking an exciting challenge that can boost your career, of course you are going to be interested.
  6. Not sure this guys watched us all that much. I’m not gonna knock Enzo, he got the job done, others with more experience haven’t yet. However, the one thing we are not in our style of play under him is unpredictable. We have it in is to do something unexpected but the majority of our play are the same patterns repeatedly trying to break the opposition down or waiting for them to make a mistake and create an opening.
  7. Leeds fans on socials reckon they’ve sold out for Southampton with tickets in their end, which makes no sense if you’re still able to buy tickets in your own. I didn’t think I was overly fussed about who goes up, but there is an entitlement from the Leeds fan base around here that makes me want them to lose. Also, never seen a fanbase with so many grown men wearing their clubs tops and training wear as casual wear on day to day life 🤢 those living in the Barnsley/Wakefield area will be all to aware I’m sure.
  8. About 2-3 months ago… **from fickle fans like myself**
  9. Well done mate, I always keep flirting with the idea of Leeds but the course puts me off. Id be dead happy with that time on a tough course, warm weather and the sorts!
  10. As others have suggested, definitely worth spending more and even going to a shop to get them fitted. I increased my weekly load drastically at the start of the year then blew up with really bad shin pain at the end of March towards the end of the Wakefield 10k. When I spoke to the physio he reckons that the increase in the load wearing my Nike Pegasus (which didn’t suit my feet) had led to me putting more weight on the inside of my right leg over and over again which led to some severe shin splints. I’m 2 weeks back now and have built up to 20 mins still using my Nikes but with a specialised insole, then when I get paid I’ll be going to get sorted for the right shoes because I’m not going through that again
  11. Posts above are pretty spot on, if you sweat easily and you lose a lot of sodium you’ll be soaked and as it dries you’ll have a grainy sediment on your face and shirt. If you have a high sweat rate it could be that you need to hydrate more than you think. If you lose sodium then you need to increase the salt in your diet around runs- you can find a list of healthy and appropriate foods on google pretty easily if your not sure. The other thing could be the amount of energy that you have used up, it’s worth smashing some high carb food sources as soon as you are done- stuff like yazoo, flapjack, bread and jam will get into your system quickly.
  12. Was Raikhy ever part of a league squad? My understanding is that those who were named in a league squad would be involved- making an appearance or not.
  13. The wording doesn’t sound like a manager, rather a chairman or chief exec- all the same that they are still allowed to do their job.
  14. Fair enough, I know they used to be the shirt sponsor, wasn’t sure if they still had some big advertising deal at the training ground/stadium
  15. https://www.evertonfc.com/club/partners/cazoo/ not sure if this is still the case that Cazoo are the main partners for Everton, but their about to go bust. Potentially more financial issues for the Toffees?

    The gym

I completely agree, working in sports science roles and as an accredited S&C coach I always just viewed CrossFit as a training concept where it’s just designed to make you tired and fatigued without much thought or process, and without much care towards proper exercise technique. What I do like is while I can smash a cardio based session in large groups, I can also attend smaller group sessions where you nail down on specific techniques or strength work. I imagine there are a number of gyms/people in this space who don’t operate like that and don’t coach appropriately, but I’ve got to say the guys who have been leading the sessions I’ve been at have been top class. My fitness over the past 3 weeks has improved greatly- returning to running after injury has felt effortless, I’m stronger and I feel a lot better day to day. It’s made me realise that while I thought my own strength training was going well, I was probably sat in too much of a comfort zone. I haven’t seen the Physical 100 but I can see where your coming from some of the physical qualities of the more advanced people I’ve seen in the gym is really impressive.
  17. Well done on this guys. I also get the feeling with the relationship you seem to be building with the players and management who obviously appreciate you, that you may become a headache for the club for positive reasons. Keep it up.
  18. Few points: - Send off for Sharky, and potentially Vardy was class, hats off to UFS for their part - EFL chairman’s reception was spot on - Brilliant to see the reaction from the players and the togetherness - Vardy and Albrightons reaction to Shinji being there was priceless - Time to spend some time off of here going by some of the posts from today, some couldn’t find happy if it slapped them in their face
  19. From an outsiders POV I didn’t think he was great at Wolves, then kicked up a massive fuss about losing players and not bringing anyone in and walked, only to watch Gary O’Neil do a far better job with a weakened squad. There would be a few red flags for me if I was a West Ham fan. I can see them about to go through that period where they chop and change managers every 12-18 months.
  20. I worked with Ethan at Barnsley, nice lad, couldn't ever really understand why we took him on loan as he struggled to make the standard in our U23s. I'll be honest I choked on my coffee when I saw your comment.....concerned about the radar we are using now.
  21. Challengers....meh
  22. Naive of you to think I have any say in that
  23. This is something I’ve been thinking more and more about, and this may sound like a daft question but is there a rough annual income where you think this becomes common sense? I have no clue when it comes to this stuff, I invest £100 a month into a fund through a stocks and shares ISA, this amount is only limited at the moment by saving for our wedding and I recognise I could probably be putting more away and am daft at the age of 32 to not be.
  24. Michal Helik for me, pretty sure Huddersfield will have been anchored to the bottom of the league without him.
  25. Forget crying at match officials when your own players are kicking air 6 yards out of an open goal.
