County Cup Final Quorn 2 - 0 Loughborough Students Although Holmes Park has lost its sparkle and immaculate playing service, and the old Westerby Cup is no longer the pull for some clubs, it’s always nice to finish with Silverware, the second in two seasons wrapping another hugely successful season. With a budget of peanuts and everyone’s tip to go down, keeping the squad together for next season will be a challenge. Expect Goodson, Bello & Frizelle to receive good money offers elsewhere.

Belper Town v RC Warwick in the Step 4 Play Off Final. Warwick winning on penalties. Ex Quorn keeper Tom Allsopp making two penalty saves at the death. 1700 attendance including many already upset Derby fans. Even more so by the end of the game. Ha

Very poor and somewhat on the Manager IMO. Granted experience is the preferred option but we desperately need goals. Put Hutchinson in for Ayew just to give us better options up top -
Very questionable management this
-
Needs experience with him. Someone like a Huth, Morgan or Evans would be invaluable for him. Could be immense
-
Incredible scenes. Will be nigh on impossible to retain him next season imagine some big offers will be coming his way

St Ives 1 - 4 Quorn Been a week of change on and off the field. A great response to the midfield defeat against Halesowen and a return to Quorn for Jack Duffy & Asst Gaffer Big Tom Chez. I didn’t go as I went to the King Power. But to anyone who’s lost the love for the game or has their mental health affected by it, I urge you to visit your local non league team at whatever step you wish to follow. It gives you a complete reset and a reminder of what makes the game great. Helped served a purpose yesterday. Loved the day for what it was, meeting friends for a drink, watching the tactical layout, my lad meeting his mates too. Quorn back in the Play Off zone. Unreal

I went today for the first time since Winning the Championship at Deepdale. Those that follow the ‘Non-League’ thread will see I’m more invested in Step 3 these days. Was Intruiged to see the turn out. I get the message is needed but I can’t help but think who the hell would take our Club on. Anyone with an ounce of acumen would know that we aren’t a viable business proposition. That’s said, it’s not grounds to stay quiet. The saddest part of the whole thing is the whole game experience. Standing in North, there’s an air of acceptance that we are completely gone. No anger from anyone when the goals went in. It’s looked and sounded like we’re all done. On field was awful. Pitiful. All very sad -
Mavadidi & Ayew are both currants
-
Utter Cnut of the highest order. Wonker
-
Don’t warrant the abuse for their 2nd. Left in the lurch by CB’s both going positional albeit in the wrong space and a Lazy as fcuk Left Wing waste of space. That doesn’t warrant exemption from other justifiable critiques of which there are many. But the second goal, no way
