Great win. Mainly horrible to watch. Not bothered. Ruuuuuud

He mentally checked out months ago and performances confirm this. Get him gone come January
-
Ahhhhhh the good old days. John Meach’s Army. Big Kev Woods at 1st Slip with Trev Colver 2nd. Best times playing the game

One had a daisy for a badge and danced round a maypole. The other didn’t

Up the BU / Stanny FC

Am firm and moist.

Been a while but up the Quorn. And to stop a lynching down the pub, up the BU
-
Pitifully inept. Totally unsurprising and am past caring

Just not nice to watch -
Terrible result and performance to match.

Over County Lines today to watch Racing Club Warwick v Quorn the away team being the victors with a 2-0 scoreline. Webb and Grantham doing the business again with the Goals. Great set-up at Warwick who beat Aylestone in last years Step 5 South play-off final to go up. The Quorn goal leading a charmed life at times but if you don't take your chances at any level, you don't win games. 230+ in attendance. Decent pint. What's not to love about non-league

Great day yesterday for Non-League really pleasing to see high numbers at local level from +200 at Birstall v Gornal at Step 6 to +580 at Quorn v Anstey at Step 4. Entertaining 0-0 at the Quorn game played at a very fast tempo. Both teams having a half each and going close with chances Anstey hitting the Bar in the last 5. Fenton going on in the 1st half for Anstey was probably the difference IMO the Sub Striker being wasteful. You can see Anstey miss Robinson and Armeni in the Centre. Both teams should be in the play-offs come April but will be interesting how early pace-setters Corby and Worcester kick on

He'll go when Top does and that won't be long. Club will be sold

Seems completely scattergun. Like a mass panic buying episode on Champ Manager

Quorn 5 - 1 Sutton Coldfield Great performance this after going a goal down after 10 mins. Paddy Webb perfect Left Foot, Right Foot, Header Hat-Trick being the stand out performance from a lot. Him and Noble should be playing higher than Step 4. Defence looking solid. Perfect start after a good pre-season.
-
Louis Baker joined Quorn at the back end of the 2022-23 season in Step 5 and struggled massively. His Dad was the better performer which is unsurprising given his experience
-
Great win at Quorn over Spalding. Hard to see which one was the Step 3 & 4 side. Now managed by ex LCFC Junior, Ryan Beswick, although nothing won in pre-season, an encouraging start and squad rebuild should stand them in good stead over this coming season

He was bang average when he played Sunday league the other year
-
Totally agree but this is to be expected given the clueless fcuks running our show.
-
Would give it award for his positioning at the end free kick. Top quality. Always had it covered
-
Granted it's a friendly. Granted it's mainly a 2nd string (save Alves who has it in spades) but our passing is awful in large parts. Okoli looks like he's won a raffle to play

One for the discerning listener. Honestly speaking despite my connection to Derek & Classic Groove, this is consistently one of the best out there. Is available on other Podcast providers too

HMS Piss The League will be full-steam ahead this year. Greavesy not messing about has bold ambitions and after talking to few people at the Club last weekend, has the drive, prowess and money to make it happen. Huge catchment area to generate attendance from. Youth set-up mighty and has been for a long while which has been the catalyst for drive. Will be another Leicester Club at Step 4 and above next year.
