To be fair I like what I see in Cannon too. I think he’s got all the attributes to be a top striker. Wouldn’t be disappointed with either of them starting, just don’t like the unjustifiable grief aimed at Daka.

There are some on FT who cannot accept that he is a very good striker. They NEED to have someone to focus on. A little sad. If he has a bad game he has a bad game, plenty of other players do.

Could it be that they genuinely find some of our play baffling, stifling and boring? You have to admit there are patches in games when this is the case. The REAL issue is the going backwards when it appears we can go forward and exploit the space created. That is what drives the frustration most.

Agreed. I just think he adds more than he detracts. Things seem to happen around him, which is a good quality to have. Still think he needs more time, belief and confidence, but there is a good player in there.

Are people actually saying no to Daka today? Wasn’t he involved in 2 out of the 3 goals against Swansea? Maybe all 3? Madness. Cannon is good and I like him, but he’s not as good as Daka.

You’re right, it might be but it depends how bad it is for us.

Enzo seems like a sharp man. He knows he’s at a good club and he knows we are very likely to go straight back up as Champions. His stock might well be at its height before we start getting battered in the Prem. If a half decent Prem side came in for his at the end of the season he might well jump ship, knowing we will struggle on multiple fronts and he might then be seen as a Prem failure.

Sensi was likely the stop gap for if KDH went to Brighton. Maybe if Praet left. They didn’t. We don’t need him. We go with what we have. Quite simple really.

He’s a good player, just needs time on the pitch, some confidence and the love of our patient and supportive fans.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, he should be renamed Elma Fudkin. The bloke is a useless cartoon character.

Ultimately there was just no Sensi in this deal.
