Back when I used to play you’d strap your boots on at any opportunity. When I was at school I’d play for the school team in the morning and then for Frisby Utd in the afternoon. Always put in 100%. You play because you love it. Nowadays it just doesn’t seem like that. It’s a shame because Nacho is damned good. He could and should have made a big impact this season, but he has chosen not to bother. Sad.

More so than us yes.

They will close us down with energy and push us pretty much like all the teams who have beaten us have done. Think Enzo rotates and we lose this one too. It’s fun being a foxes fan.

IF found guilty I would come down hard on him. Standards have to be set. I like him as a player but there is no room for this for anyone. You can only expect professionalism if all aspects of your business are run professionally.

Sometimes less is more

Personally think Winks has been our player of the season so far. He has been exceptional.

We won’t have the money or the room to manoeuvre within FFP to being the players in we would need. Some, yes, but not enough for this style of play. So your dog fight metaphor is bang on.

Nor will we in the Premier League and THAT is the issue.

But it’s Enzo’s way. He’s shown no real ability to change is successfully when we’ve needed to this season. No plan B. So he’s likely to persist in the Prem, IF we get there. I can only foresee disaster. Let’s just hope we galvanise ourselves and get there. Currently I can see another collapse on the horizon - but that is only my opinion.

I’ve said it for years. We need a Keane type player in the middle, a nasty galvanising bastard - not exactly like Keane, obviously, or he’s be sent off every match. Hamza has the ugly streak but not the leadership. IF we get promoted we will be able to buy two or three players and that’s not enough for this style. We will get absolutely slaughtered most games.

If you’re going to pass it around at the back to try and create space, then for godsake exploit that damned space. Don’t just stop, turn round and pass it back again. I know we’re at the top of the league, 8pts clear of whoever blah blah, but I tell you something I think you all know, it won’t stay that way unless we wise up, sharpen up and find better ways to exploit our possession.

Too slow, too predictable, not pushing in when we should. Every time there’s an opportunity to exploit we go backwards.

Soon people will be asking, was it Brendan? I mean of course it was, bloke was a cvnt. But are we about to see another epic and unnecessary wobble? Rubbish game really. We were poor again for much of it, although their keeper did pull off some good saves. Enzo needs to learn. Ok when things are going great. They don’t always and you have to adapt.

We’re doomed.

Absolute legend of a keeper, on FM. Always used to sign him. He was up there with that Russian geezer who always seemed to end up at Real Madrid. Can’t say we’ve had great value for money on this 🤣.

You can judge him on performances this season though, where he has looked slow, disinterested and hardly bothered to do anything much. Whatever fire was in him seems to have well and truly gone out. Hope I’m wrong because he’s a very very good player on his day. Daka, though, seems as though the fires are building up to quite a nice head of steam. He still could be our main man next season.

Doubt that will happen with us. He needs to show some of that desire when he gets back on the pitch. Been a passenger in many games and we don’t need passengers, even the goat.

I’m not actually bothered about what any other team is doing. The ONLY team for me is our team and what they do. We continue as we have and nothing else matters. It’s in our hands. Good place to be. Other teams will do what they do.

Is he transitioning then?

Southampton will hit a sticky patch. So will Leeds again. So will we in all likelihood. Not convinced we will get anything out of the Ipswich game unless Enzo adopts a slightly less Italian approach.

How is he on crosses?

You just watch some championship donkey snap him 15 mins into his debut. Looks a great player if only he wasn’t made of spun sugar.
