The facts are quite simple. Top isn’t a business man and never will be. He was a playboy living off his father’s ability. Top put his trust in yes men who didn’t have a clue - Rudkin for one. He trusted them because he had no idea either. King Power’s main business in Thailand is struggling massively and the whole empire could easily collapse. Will we secure better owners? Likely not. There will be a price to pay in one direction or another.

Cullen is bang average at best. Don’t see what any of the fuss has been for. He won’t change a game. He won’t make much difference at all.

We will never be a big club in the traditional sense, and if we don’t get things sorted on the financial front soon, we might not be a club at all. However, if we do get things sorted through a decent, or at least, loaded, new owner, then we have the potential to be bigger than all but about 10 clubs in the Premier League.

Unfortunately this is just symptomatic of Top’s business acumen. Everything he’s touching is turning to shit. He genuinely seemed to lose interest years ago. Selling after Enzo took us back up would have been the call, but he waited - for what? Now we’re worth a fraction of what we would have been. not sure we’re an easy buy or one with any real prospects for such a buyer. We’ve had our miracle. Won’t happen again. Best we could hope for is to become mid table Prem with the odd cup run, and even that is a pipe dream.

Can’t see anyone offering more than £200 million to be honest. If they truly want £500 million, then we ain’t being sold anytime soon.

So what? It’s not about the league it’s about the player. A player doesn’t suddenly become worth less. By that logic you could have Bellingham in your side, get relegated to league 1 and he’s suddenly worth what, 60% of his true value? No. It’s nothing to do with the players worth and everything to do with the financial situation of the club in these circumstances. If we don’t need to sell we shouldn’t unless our valuation is met.

Think we’ll cave at £20 million. Should be more but it’s us.

Just don’t think there are many teams Winks would make a positive difference to. People know he’s been a knob as well. Hardly covered himself in glory and not good enough for that not to matter.
