  1. Superb. Reading of the game and decision making virtually flawless. Great on the ball as well. Where he wasn't really tested was physically, either in against a strong forward player or somebody running at pace but if that's what he's capable of, easy to see why he was so highly thought of a couple of years back (and frustrating that his development has been held back)
  2. Literally a string of us all saying the same thing
  3. Haha, absolutely doggo defending but that's a ridiculous pass
  4. Get Doyle off asap. So off the pace of the game and he needs to be eased back in
  5. And he's nowhere near the player he was. At his peak, he was incredible.
  6. Not great. Some really slick play though but Millwall have had far more chances. Though it's one of those weird games where we've been under pressure but it doesn't necessarily feel like it (if that makes sense!)
  7. Nelson's looked good
  8. Pace always an issue with him so it's probably going to be be more obvious after a long injury and means he'll look more exposed until he's back up to speed again.
  9. Quality for that goal as well
  10. Doyle looking very suspect so far
  11. Desperately need a replacement. Praet would be good if he could actually stay fit but lacks the physicality of Wilf. Maybe Casadei won't actually be awful after a run of games?
  12. Seems wrong to say it but we have to let his contract expire. He's not going to be up to it in the Prem and he becomes yet another distraction/blocker to somebody else's career path.
  13. I'm sure that's who Rodri modelled his game on. Though I'd say that against Chelsea in the league cup with 7/8 defenders on the pitch including Darren Kenton, James Chambers and Bruno N'Gotty playing in midfield would take some beating!
  14. Might be the most negative performance from one player I've ever seen. Shocking (Casadei to be clear; Yunus looking tidy)
  15. Completely disagree. His decision making is excellent, and for a 19 year old, it's as good as you'll see. It's that's which makes me (and many others) think he has the potential to go to the very top. The amount of chances he creates every game is silly and those can be crosses, long passes, slide through balls, running at a player (left or right) etc so his assists should probably be double and could be even higher than that. Mavididi will get better as well but his decision making is markedly worse and it's why Fatawu has a much higher ceiling that him. I do completely agree that his finishing is pretty poor but I suspect that is a concentration thing. Will definitely improve but if it does truly click anytime soon, he won't be playing for us, that's for sure!
  16. Mavididi already is...
  17. Abdul is a joke. Things go right for him he's going to be one of the very best wide players in the game

    PS5

There's been some deals but BF was as good as it's been (think summer also had good sales). Got mine in BF for under £400 with Final Fantasy 16
  19. Fantastic goal. Patience and purpose. Brilliant from Daka, stunning finish (though questions over the keeper)
  20. None? How many do you think are going to let us have the ball without much pressure? None? So the point is, if our philosophy is possession orientated we need to be better at doing something with that considering we'll have far less of it next year. We go through the motions so often and rely on the sheer amount of possession and overwhelming individual quality to get us over the line. That won't work next year. And we're hardly going to see us become a counter attacking team under Enzo. He's married to this philosophy so he need to make sure they're were maximising what we can do with this style of play.
  21. But what are we doing to tire them out? We're hardly stretching the game or zipping the ball about. I'm trying to look at these games with a lens on next season. We can't play this style with this tempo and expect to have much success
  22. This is so turgid. Need to up the tempo.
  23. Go for the X then. More limited yes, but plenty of (legal) third party sellers. I have an X but never buy physically because I'm a lazy bastard and CBA to wait for the game or get up and change the disc .
  24. I've become the youth of today with my instant gratification and attention span, complaining that I have nothing to play. Made a list of games to finish and it's ridiculously long . Will be opening my PS5 on Christmas so was trying to churn out some games before then. Went back to Marvel's Midnight Suns to play the dlc and damn, that game is so much fun. Such a shame the marketing on it completely confused the situation. Some elements of it are very dated but the actual gameplay is fantastic. Think they'd set it up for more dlc and a sequel but don't think that's going to happen.
  25. Based on this, Xbox is a no brainer for you. Those games will all end up on game pass at some point (generally 7-8 months after release and COD will probably be release day). I think if you just want to have something to pick up and play for an hour or 2, game pass is the way to go. Obviously if you're more bothered about story games and you can either commit to decent sessions or you're attention span is good (better than mine at least!) so you can go weeks without playing and get back into the story quickly, PS5 is a far better choice. There's also the X Vs S tossup for Xbox. Theoretically they'll both be supported but we're already seeing that tested with games like Baldurs Gate 3. However, that'll still be rare I think as it's part of Xbox's mandate that they have parity. Not sure what the current price difference is but might be worth a look if you're only going to play a few games at a time, aren't top bothered about the visuals and you're sticking to multiplayer/ongoing games because then then disc drive and trade in potential of makes no difference to you.
