  1. Can't dispute they're decent stats but he's also played more minutes than anyone else and almost 3 times as many minutes as Justin. You also need to see the stats as per 90's and success rates to get a fuller picture. Considering the game time and style of play, it'd be bloody disappointing if he wasn't in the top 3. I'm not saying that to be a downer on Doyle, I'm just raising that point to contest you randomly trying to slate Justin. Players are capable of having their own merits that aren't dependent on another player
  2. Definitely missing out then. I'd recommend all the mainline games since then, with the exception of Valhalla as it's way too easy and a bit soulless. Origins and Odyssey are excellent albeit it quite different but worth a go. Unity was a bit of a technical mess but was still fun and Syndicate was a victim of the fatigue. I didn't play it until a couple of years after it game out and was surprised that it was actually very good. Still, this game will probably be quite short but a good modern take on the older style of game.
  3. Yeah, I've got that on as feel you should use the new gameplay systems. But I answered my own question, it's best to just leave it to the AI until the opposition is right next to you otherwise they just charge straight through you. Rubbish. Never like using exploitative things like that but it's essential online. I remember when they move away from legacy defending (10 years ago maybe a lot less) and I was so excited because I did all my defending manually, plus I was actually decent at the game then. But that ended up being a system that gave you even less control and made it so reliant on the AI. It's the same as it has been for 5 years in that it's a good game (lots of content, game modes etc) but a crap football game both in terms of fun or simulation.
  4. It's grown on me. Controversial but as somebody who loves fantasy settings, I just found Skyrim so meh and the world really bland/grey. I was worried it was like that at first but thankfully it seems like it isn't. There's been some really cool little bits in side quests so far and the faction questlines seem cool. Loved the interaction exhibit in the UC headquarters as that was a great way to deliver lore. It's got a problem with way too much content and not a way to properly track it clearly. Recent AC games are known for their bloat but at least you can easily see what the quest is and where it is (plus turn the icons off if it's too much). Need an update with bloody maps! Not sure if I'll ever finish it or certainly not in the way it's intended. Oh and thank god there's actually some sci fi weaponry. It's so dumb when humans have mastered space travel, habitation etc yet they're still just using bullets (looking at you Halo)
  5. You mean I actually have to put some effort in to make money. Disgraceful
  6. I've got it pre-ordered for £33. Considering it still looks like a fully fleshed game, even if a bit shorter (maybe that's just by Ubisoft standards!). I've seen almost no coverage about it so looking forward to going in fairly blind. Just a shame that Basim is the protagonist when you know what kind of character he is already. If it's decent, it gives hope that they could blend gameplay styles for potential remakes of AC1 and the AC2 games. Looking forward to going back the roots a bit more as well. Totally get why people don't like Origins or Odyssey (which just gets better as I look back on it) as AC games but they're excellent games. Valhalla completely lost its way for me though it's objectively still an 8 out of 10 game.
  7. Just played a game of FUT with the trial and how the f do you defend? Guessing you basically leave the controller the press tackle when they're right next to you. Defence literally running away from the ball 99% of the time
  8. He's right but unfortunately, coming from a supporter of a recently relegated team, one that's had plenty of time in the PL, it just comes across as sour grapes. The fact there's a massive wealth divide between the top 6/7 in the PL and even more of a chasm between the rest of the football league is awful. And it'll never be addressed. Enzo's doing great but when you park the doom and gloom because of last year, if you can't get promoted with this squad and financial backing, there's something seriously wrong. I'd never question anyone's love for Leicester, but how anyone could claim to love football in its current state is beyond me. A super League will happen in the next 20 years and whereas it would have been terrible a few years back, it'll be one of the best things to happen to the game. A watershed moment that's an actual catalyst for change.
  9. Damn, just missed the boat on that
  10. He was absolutely dreadful yesterday, second half in particular. Constantly made the wrong decision and gave the ball away. Still, that's most wingers outside of the very elite and you can see that he's generally a quality player at this level and there's potential for him to cut it at Prem level. As with all attackers, it's going to be about his decision making.
  11. Game pass is on a tear at the moment. Lots added in the last few weeks and it's got some really good 'game pass' games (by that I mean games that had some issues at launch so you wouldn't go out and buy them, like Gotham Knights).
  12. The transfers and finances blog sounded great. Lots of little bits in there including development of young players (a massive bugbear on long term saves) and dynamic TV money which is also big. Not expecting everything to land and some will likely take a lot of patches/follow up versions to get right but does sound good so far.
  13. Agree. He's very technically gifted so I understand why he's in that role but him marauding down the flank and underlapping (which brings him infield) is where he's best. Having said that, definitely not as quick or sharp as he was pre injury(s) so maybe that's not his game anymore. Almost forgot about Hamza which is probably a measure of how well he played. Some fantastic tackles in the first half.
  14. He's definitely got something different. As in that point of difference that could see him go the very top. Not saying for a second he'll get there but he has a chance unlike 99% of professional footballers. Under a good manager to try and coax that out of him
  15. Jesus. 2 good games in a row
  16. Doyle's been cack
  17. Been fairly even but we've probably had the better (last 10 mins we started to take control). Not a thriller but good work rate from us.
  18. Didn't think he'd score. And that's coming from somebody who's always supremely confident when Kel's over a pen. Gives me a good idea if where I think his game and confidence is at
