Definitely not better than Souttar. Souttar was great yesterday but unfortunately he made those 2 ridiculous decisions (smacked of arrogance/not caring), which are straight out of the Faes playbook, and obviously a big worry. Even on a good day, you wouldn't never see Faes so dominant over the opposition striker because he doesn't have the physical ability to do that. In terms of ball playing, Souttar actually played about the only good line breaking passes in the game with a couple of lovely little clips over the top. Because of his size, he just looks awkward with the ball but he's plenty good enough with it

Understandably, but too many people blinded by their hatred of players to assess performances now. Skipp had a pretty good game. Doesn't change the fact he was a crap signing but equally bringing up his price tag is irrelevant to how well he actually played. People think just because a player drops leagues, then they should suddenly be able to do things that they were never able to. Like dropping Kante into this league and expecting him to get 25 goals. My biggest issue is that he's occupying Braybrooke's best role. But unless we're able to get a much more physical CM in, he's probably going to continue there

He's been abysmal bar that nice little pass. The only other times he's picked up the ball he's given it away with a poor choice or poorly executed pass. Still, basically still pre season and only 1 game. Sure he'll contribute plenty this season.

Nice ball from Cullen but apart from that, this has been an utterly dire debut

He's a liability on the pitch, just as much as Thomas. Obviously both are good enough for this level, but there aren't much better than that, and certainly not on the wages they are on. And there's nothing complicated about it, the guy has a catalogue of stupid to illegal things he's done. One, maybe two misdemeanours and it's up for debate, but not when there's so much evidence. He's clearly a ****. To call him a legend is mental. I'd say I'd have some of what you're smoking but I think I'll pass...

Maybe? Or maybe you can tell us where he's said that? People been speculating on here that he wants to go, same with Nelson. From what I know (weak insider source), both of those have basically said they want the club to consider transfer offers but are not exactly pushing for it. Exactly what you'd expect given our situation. So not saying that desperately want to stay but a slight step further than just saying silent. Whereas a Faes for example, has explicitly said he wants to go (which is public knowledge)

He absolutely would have been a starter. Only gut to captain is twice in pre-season as well (happy to be corrected on that). If he stayed, he was going to be first choice and then it was whether we went for Okoli or Souttar alongside him. Think Faes is behind the others in Martin's eyes

That and they know the fans are buzzing to be back in League 1 so just signing players that will keep us down in this league

No Rehan is embarrassing. He's the most precocious talent England have had in my lifetime so it's maddening that he's not been their per project when the likes of Bashir and Bethell have. May never make it at test level but their management of him certainly isn't going to help.
