Agree with everything else you said but this. Page didn't get dogs abuse at all, probably the other way if anything, but he definitely wasn't ready at that point. But when he came back from the U17 World Cup (I think) and played for us, he'd grown massively in every aspect and looked a cut above the other midfielders but was then inexplicably cut out for Winks of all people. But sadly you are probably right than any young player will have a bad game then suddenly they'll be written off. That's the Leicester way.

One important thing to factor in with the SA market, is that those countries tend to have much shorter timeframes to earn residency in Spain, so aside from the language/culture, it's another reason why you'd focus on SA as a market in Spain.

Spot on. I think the age of the internet distorts that. The FB lot get ripped on here (rightly so) but sadly even that are more in tune with the club as a whole than a big of match going fans. And it's not just the casual fans, at any football club there are always season tickets holders who have absolutely no clue about anything outside of the matchday

Problem is, we can dive into the detail and go through a load of possible permutations, or we can try and over simplify it, in terms of who wants to buy us and when, and by extension what situation KP are willing to sell in vs their expectations, but football is such a unique business I don't think a lot of the normal rules will apply. Ultimately, any buying party is going to have so many moving parts in the background as to whether they want to get in 'early' allowing them a better chance to start clawing back some of that money or wait until possible admin, and KP (Top) will be dictated to by that I think, even though they're the selling party.

Important to remember that some things are relative (which also means less impactful unfortunately). If you live right in the centre of Leicester and have a ST then joining the protest or refusing to attend/giving up a season ticket is something you can do, and is on the impactful end. If you live 4 hours away then your options are limited so giving up a membership, refusing to buy merchandise etc is probably what you can do but unfortunately is far less impactful. If you're in the former category, you've probably also got to sacrifice more so I do get that, but unfortunately there's definitely a good chunk of people who aren't putting their money where their mouth is

I just flagged that because that could be an issue. In the case of the England shirt I got, I got the exact size I ordered so it was fine. And as I said, I even compared it side by side with the same shirt in JD Sports and they were exactly the same; badges, logos/print, trim, stitching (actually better stitching on the one I had but that's just a case of standard deviance in any garment) and even the tags exactly the same. I've had another shirt not from these places and whilst it was great, there were some things upon close inspection that were obviously different. DH Gate is obviously imitation so whilst it's very good sometimes, it can be pretty obvious. And on some occasions, they are also sourced from the same factory (I know that can be the case with golf clubs for example). Can't vouch for all those websites but only my own experience where it's 100% made in the same factory. Any difference is imperceptible and certainly when you're not cross examining the shirt. Whether there's a moral question, is up to each person but given the point of the comment was not putting money back into KP, it's feels fairly one sided as to what you choose to do.

But since we're generally listed under PL clubs on those sites (bit depressing!), I'm sure all the kits will be on them eventually. Tracksuits seem to have been on there for a while. And can vouch for the quality of them. Got an England player version as a bit of test (think it was adjersey) and compared it with the real version in JD Sports and it's exactly the same, tags and all. Generally £15ish quid but the shipping takes them in the £20 realm. Pay via PayPal so secure in that sense too. I guess the only real risk is sizing as you never quite know if it's going to be Chinese/SE Asian sizing or if it will line up with UK.

No it isn't. If the pitch is really narrow, then simply having 11 players in any formation makes 'widening the pitch' impossible. And I'm saying that as somebody who would generally prioritise having wide players and also gets frustrated that teams never play wingers on their natural side just to mix things up from. time to time Doesn't mean the wide players will be ineffective necessarily but the full backs aren't going to be creating space for them in those games. Plus I'd also say that based on current personal, success will be determined by how fluid the attack is in terms of positional rotation

Don't think we still are though when you dig deeper into that data. We missed the boat in terms of absolutely nailing that. However, given the achievements in the modern era, there's definitely no club outside the top 2 tiers (West Ham aside), and the majority of the PL, with that kind of potential.

And then we've got plenty of young players who have league experience which you have to bear in mind. Not saying things are perfect as is, but maybe we're in an ok place.
