  1. Yes, he was poor today. He didn’t do much of his running around a lot, especially absent 2nd half. Him and Winks given a lesson by the Norwich midfielder ( who strangely they subbed , but still went onto to win easily).
  2. Why does he slip so much? I dunno, would a fitness coach working on balance exercises and staying upright help him. Surely some one on the coaching staff have identified this as an issue.
  3. Thinking back to that assault by Targett on Abdul, how on earth was that not a yellow card!!! Abdul had just come on, everyone knows of his reputation as skilful and match changer, and hard man T does the old “leave one on him” and “let him know he’s in a game” Neanderthal 1970s approach of taking him out at thigh height! That could have easily caused a serious injury, or aggravated the recent injury with Abdul just having come off the bench.
  4. You really don’t rate him do you! Another game where you’re finding fault with him, but to most of us he had a good game. As I said before, he’s a water carrier who gives 100% - just what we need right now. Hope you cheer up a bit and try to enjoy the last 2 good results at 2 very difficult away grounds.
  5. Wish I could turn these Boro commentators off and keep the crowd noise- given us no credit at all- prat’s
  6. Their commentary duo are bloody annoying
  7. The scorer didn’t look it to me, but their first man did and so doesn’t he affect the play as he was in A Bs eyeline?
  8. These Stoke commentators getting on my nerves
  9. Oh shurrup. No player does that. He’s still not fully fit and picks up another strain
  10. I thought he did well at Millwall?
  11. Just looked on Google AI wotsit - says he left a good legacy at Millwall over 4 years- saved them from relegation and made them a solid top half side. That’ll do us for now
  12. It’s unnerving to see flopping and boner in the same post! As I said, IF he is out a lot on the beer with the club in such a mess and his focus and performance well below the standard required, then he deserves flak.
  13. I know what you mean and you’re semi joking, but we’re not professional sports people and like in his case, we’re not earning a huge salary with a very privileged life. Some will disagree, but some of us are irked that he’s down the pub a few hours after yet another humiliating display by him. Just show a bit of respect of the clubs fans, stay at home or at family’s for a meal for the evening. if this is all true about him boozing a lot, then let’s take the pee when he’s on the pitch with a song - “he likes a few pints, he likes a few pints, Luke Thomas, he likes a few pints”!
  14. There were a few points when we played some pretty little tight passing patterns in a confined area, nowhere near their goal, like those clips we see from Seagrave, but otherwise mostly same old slow no end product. We tried the long ball occasionally, but mostly either the pass wasn’t good enough or our players weren’t switched on to it or brave enough.
  15. Blimey. I remember when Wenger came into English football and revolutionised attitudes, diet, lifestyles etc. Like many, I scoffed at the time and thought he was a crackpot. Of course, he was right. Why doesn’t LTs agent or family, or AK, have a little word?
  16. I expected a bit more from Mukasa today. Luke Thomas has forgotten that his primary purpose as a defender is to know where his man is at all times when defending a free kick and for all defensive positions. Pleased for Skippy and his goal. Winks again just not influential enough for his age, experience and reputation. That bloody silly volley near the end when he could have controlled it and pass was mindless.
  17. Want to see more from Musaka
  18. Hmm, probably better to save his legs and avoid risk of injury in a now meaningless cup game - we’ll need him for more important games to come
  19. Blimey one end is empty!
  20. Goodness, I’m old but looking at both sets of fans, what a boring lot- and that welcome when the teams came out- so sad what’s happened to the game
  21. Ha ha, I like your style! Sorry you were ill. I was there too as a young teenager. How exciting it was- Weller, Shilton , Wortho etc and it seemed so international to be playing an Italian side.
  22. Great day and I was a spotty faced teenager in a parka. Went on my own. Ground was packed but managed to get in down one of the sides. Tiny terrace under a stand. We had an end behind a goal, and also others scattered around the ground. When we scored I was amazed by how many Leicester were around me and singing. The roof was so low it seemed like you’d hit your head on it if you jumped up! Happy days!
  23. Just watching his presser - he does speak honestly to be fair to him
