We were soo lucky against Leeds yesterday, and 9 times out of 10 we lose that game. They were all us and deserved the win. We’re at home and playing like an away time with one up front, Vardy and Iheanacho should have started. Rodgers still needs to go in the Summer, as although we have kept 2 cleans, it was more due to Leeds missed chances and last gasp stops, rather than tactical awareness.

Or maybe people would like to hear about other people’s experiences

These poor performances have been consistent for well over a year. Passive, defensive, gutless football which is orchestrated by Rodgers. He’s turning my club into a laughing stock and I can’t understand why some people are still backing him. The team has morphed into Rodgers personality.

When he was first here, he was really direct, seems to overthink things and seems like he’s not really bothered with tracking back

Game management in regards to when we look tactically poor in the first half and it’s obvious it’s not working.

The guys got the mental strength to succeed, took some balls to take that penalty at the end, especially with the Man City players wasting time and building up the anticipation before the kick was taken.

100% this. I do believe that if we had Praet on the pitch instead of Maddison or Pérez over the last half dozen or so games, we could have made CL football. For some reason don’t feel that Rodgers rates him, which is quite bizarre because he’s a very good technical player whose got a bit of hunger/aggression and energy, who can also stretch the play. I don’t understand those that can’t see this and just label him as average, because he’s the kind of player you want in your team/squad.

Give the guy a break, get behind him instead of taking the piss, our Kel strives on confidence.

The boys got guts, even after a few misplaced passes was still making himself available and looking for the ball. He’s got a very bright future.

Had a tidy game, more attacking first half but was probably told to hold back the second half to control the game. Like the way he defends aggressively despite his youth.

Amartey seems like a genuine player who tries his best. As some posters have mentioned he’s better when we’re defending against the “better” teams, he’s not the most confident with the ball at his feet, but at least he gives 100% and looks like he’s enjoys playing for us.

He’s a Belgium international, technically very good and tries to break through the front line, it’s a shame that too many on here judge a player on his return from injury when he’s going to be rusty, as well as being played out of position. When the 3 Belgians click it is a joy to watch.

Rodgers got it wrong in taking him off, must kill his confidence as he was having a cracking game.
