Either not watching properly (totally understandable) or you just absolutely hate Harry winks (totally understandable) if you think we werenāt better when he came on yesterday. He passes the ball forward and makes semi competent decisions on the ball, an enormous improvement on the child & the cretin who started in midfield.

It is never a bad decision to not pick Patson Daka. Picking Ayew however is pretty inexplicable.

A real "hold my beer" moment this from Andy King. Jesus wept.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

Ffs people buying randomers on here sending cryptic messages. I know part of the fun of FoxesTalk is dealing with people who are pretend ITKs but I canāt believe how short some peopleās memories are š -
Truly it's one of the worst interviews I've read. The clubs in absolute freefall and it's not stopping whilst he's still here.
-
Nobody can read that article and think he is in his right mind. Heās deluded & he canāt possibly imagine breaking up the boys club that heās created with Rudkin. As long as theyāre involved with the decision making at the club weāre only going one way - and judging by that article, neither of them are going anywhere any time soon.

Realistic Managerial Replacements
daddylonglegs replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ideal situation is Top looks inward (hahahahaha) and sacks Rudkin & appoints a DOF whose sole responsibility is identifying a manager for next season. In the mean time, full focus needs to be on staying in this division after the points deduction. Hiring a random manager that they clearly don't have a plan for is not the solution. Give King the job in some description, but hire someone to help him. A genuinely good coach who has some experience (A Shakespeare type character). We just need to get these players playing at about 60% of their capability (I'd wager they're currently at about 30/40%) and we will be OK. -

Who is out of work and desperate for a job? You can forget anyone that has had a PL sized payoff in the last few years. Hassenhutl, Martin, Still - none of them need the money. Weāre much much more likely to be fishing in the Gary Rowett, Tony Mowbray pond. Get used to it - itās life under Aiyawatt. -
As one or two have eluded to, I am all aboard the Russell Martin train. If youāre going to make me hate the club I support, at least let me have a laugh along the way.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but rumours of a load of handbags at the end of the game in the tunnel. Mavididi at the centre of it and security had to get involved. -
Well said. But we are so bad that those āone or two winsā are absolutely critical now. No guarantee we can recover from another relegation. All focus needs to be on this season rather than protecting certain parties from blame.

At least if he was there we should know for certain by the end of the evening if Cifuentes gets another week or not. -

Was he there today? -
Theyāll get clapped off though

You canāt even imagine him impressing in an interview either. Iāve got literally no idea what the club saw in him other than him being a cheap option.

I take your point but the proof is in the (apathetic) pudding. The atmosphere at home is completely accepting of the situation we are in. When the fanbase genuinely feel something - they show it. Cooper for example - he was actively booed by all corners. Has there ever been genuine unison behind the Rudkin out/top out chants? Iād suggest not⦠-

Ultimately if they donāt get it by now, theyāre either incapable of getting it, or are choosing not to. Youāre right - you rarely see or come across these people. The reality is depressing though - I think thereās more of them than there are of us. -
I get this, but I'm completely apathetic about it now. It was worse when I cared and I just watched the club freefall from basically as soon as we got out of lockdown. This season should be a surprise to no one. We might be a few places lower than even the pessimists among us would've predicted, but ultimately - play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Top's been playing a stupid game for 5 years now and he's reaping what he has sown!

It would be amazing if he goes to Wrexham on Tuesday. Would be so so perfect. -
Not even a whisper of him being sacked - because we canāt afford to. Itās wasted energy thinking heāll go this year.
-
As plenty are alluding to - thereās no point directing anger towards him. It is not his fault that incompetence higher up in the club has led to him consistently being put in situations he should be nowhere near.

Couldn't agree more. Let's get the guys who want to play for the shirt back in the team. Winksy, Vesty, Kristy, Jordy. Don't do it for us lads, do it for Wout. -

Mine is more revolved around who doesn't start. Stolarcyzk, Choudhury, Thomas, Faes, Vestegaard, Winks, Soumare, Ayew. Just cannot watch them anymore.
