Realistic Managerial Replacements
daddylonglegs replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
To be fair to Dumb & Dumber, Ruud had great aura. That alone is an excellent reason to appoint a manager. He also masterminded two impressive wins over Steve Cooper's mighty Foxes in his stint as United caretaker. -

171 pages and nobody has a clue because the club haven’t got a clue. Don’t expect an imminent announcement as there isn’t one coming. -

I didn’t watch the game today, any positives to take? Lascelles? We did a goal? -
Realistic Managerial Replacements
daddylonglegs replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Guys, have some faith. This board would never rely on an extremely inexperienced coach & Mike Sadler to steer the ship for a few games at a very important stage of the season, only to appoint a free agent that they could’ve appointed immediately. This board would never do that. -
Our last twelve permanent signings (Excluding Michael Golding given he was clearly some sort of FFP minion): Asmir Begovic Ollie Skipp Bilal El Khannouss Abdul Fatawu Caleb Okoli Jordan Ayew Woyo Coulibaly Bobby De-Cordova Reid Harry Winks Mads Hermansen Tom Cannon Connor Coady It is terrifying that the same people who were in charge of those signings, will be in charge of the next twelve signings. The worst bit is that there's three or four in there that are fundamentally quite good signings (Bilal, Fatawu, Hermansen, Winks). Yet for every decent one, there's an absolute corker of a shitshow.

Realistic Managerial Replacements

You must not associate any decision that this club makes with a wider "plan". The signings were who was available. The idea we've been consulting with a manager of Martin or Gerrard's standing (lol) and that they've directed us to these players would be wishful thinking for a well run club, let alone our absolute circus. -
Listen we don’t need to live in 2016 when the reason we won the premier league (Jon Rudkin) is still here at the helm.

Jamaal Lascelles joins on 6 month deal (official.)
daddylonglegs replied to Burbagefox89's topic in Transfer Talk
It says everything you need to know about the mismanagement of this football club over the last 6 years that Jamaal Lascelles is going to be signed and immediately become our best defender. Absolutely grim. -
Either not watching properly (totally understandable) or you just absolutely hate Harry winks (totally understandable) if you think we weren’t better when he came on yesterday. He passes the ball forward and makes semi competent decisions on the ball, an enormous improvement on the child & the cretin who started in midfield.

It is never a bad decision to not pick Patson Daka. Picking Ayew however is pretty inexplicable.

A real "hold my beer" moment this from Andy King. Jesus wept.

Ffs people buying randomers on here sending cryptic messages. I know part of the fun of FoxesTalk is dealing with people who are pretend ITKs but I can’t believe how short some people’s memories are 😂 -
Truly it's one of the worst interviews I've read. The clubs in absolute freefall and it's not stopping whilst he's still here.
-
Nobody can read that article and think he is in his right mind. He’s deluded & he can’t possibly imagine breaking up the boys club that he’s created with Rudkin. As long as they’re involved with the decision making at the club we’re only going one way - and judging by that article, neither of them are going anywhere any time soon.

Realistic Managerial Replacements
daddylonglegs replied to winteriscoming's topic in Leicester City Forum
Ideal situation is Top looks inward (hahahahaha) and sacks Rudkin & appoints a DOF whose sole responsibility is identifying a manager for next season. In the mean time, full focus needs to be on staying in this division after the points deduction. Hiring a random manager that they clearly don't have a plan for is not the solution. Give King the job in some description, but hire someone to help him. A genuinely good coach who has some experience (A Shakespeare type character). We just need to get these players playing at about 60% of their capability (I'd wager they're currently at about 30/40%) and we will be OK. -

Who is out of work and desperate for a job? You can forget anyone that has had a PL sized payoff in the last few years. Hassenhutl, Martin, Still - none of them need the money. We’re much much more likely to be fishing in the Gary Rowett, Tony Mowbray pond. Get used to it - it’s life under Aiyawatt. -
As one or two have eluded to, I am all aboard the Russell Martin train. If you’re going to make me hate the club I support, at least let me have a laugh along the way.

Apologies if this has already been mentioned but rumours of a load of handbags at the end of the game in the tunnel. Mavididi at the centre of it and security had to get involved. -
Well said. But we are so bad that those ‘one or two wins’ are absolutely critical now. No guarantee we can recover from another relegation. All focus needs to be on this season rather than protecting certain parties from blame.

At least if he was there we should know for certain by the end of the evening if Cifuentes gets another week or not. -

They’ll get clapped off though

You can’t even imagine him impressing in an interview either. I’ve got literally no idea what the club saw in him other than him being a cheap option.
