  1. Hi Mr Pro. You're right, I am a great guy. Not sure why you'd want me to confirm it here though
  2. This should be the strapline on the top of Foxes Talk.
  3. Not forgetting that BR is the only manager in our history to successfully deliver us the FA Cup. Quite staggering that people queue up on here to find reasons to praise Puel, who was not much of a success with us, and queue up on here to find reasons to slag off Rodgers, who has been a massive success with us. BR of course deserves criticism for his failings but they should - IMHO - be measured, in light of what he's done so well for us. PS. We're 3 points off fifth after 10 games, in the League Cup quarter final and could well progress in Europe so while we've been frustrating this season it shouldn't be all doom and bloody gloom!
  4. A lot of people use BR's wages as a stick to beat him with. Of course he's very well paid but I suspect the top ten managers in the Premier League are all very well paid. There are reasons to criticise him, as with any manager, but I think the issue of his wages can be at times a little irrelevant. If he was on half the money, for example, he might be easier to prise out for other clubs and people would be screaming: Why didn't we get him on a better, more secure deal?
  5. First home league win since January for Bristol City. Go on Nige! 6 points cover 15 clubs in the Championship (5th to 19th)
  6. 15 unbeaten 3 points cover 9 clubs (8th to 16th) in L1 3 points cover 9 clubs (6th to 14th) in L2
  7. Yes of course we are but it's about levels. We were mid table Championship, MON took us to a whole new level. He'd got promotion from non league and division four but did that suggest he could do what he did with us? No. Potter might not be the right man for us but writing him off, as many are doing, seems a little premature.
  8. Martin O'Neill hadn't managed in the Premier League before joining us but he took us there and gave us four Top 10 finishes and 2 cups. It's not always about what they've done but about what they can potentially do. Same goes for players.
  9. I think you're spot on with this, and I rarely agree with you
  10. Some of the negativity around Potter is daft. He's an up and coming manager who's done well at Brighton. He would appear to be a good fit for us. And yes if he does well he'll move on - just as if he doesn't he'll get hounded out. That's the nature of football. Same goes for Rodgers - his stock is high after doing well with us so he'll be linked elsewhere, higher up the chain. Same goes for players who move up the chain when they've done well. Any club anywhere (bar perhaps some of the European elite) have the same issues. It's the football food chain - some however think we're exempt from it!
  11. Perhaps he wasn't working for TS that day?
  12. I'll post a link next week if anyone is interested
  13. The game is live on talkSPORT (commentary from Clive Tyldesley and Trevor Sinclair) for those who aren't watching on telly or a stream. For the build up, we've put together a feature on Vichai's legacy, the charitable work etc. Heskey and Lineker and others discuss what the owners have done for the community.
  14. Angela Rayner apologises for the "Tory Scum" comments.
  15. Steve Bruce is heading back to Manchester United as they need a replacement for...... Harry Maguire.
  16. I feel more love and warmth for Tielemans than Kante, and that's not taking anything away from what the little maestro did in 15/16. PS. Cambiasso not even in the equation
  17. Probably an unpopular opinion but I don't mind the goal music or the clappers. If others want to take the piiss, let them. It doesn't matter what fans of other clubs think. There's always something at every club which gets bantered. Plenty are envious of what we've achieved in recent times.
  18. Four wins in a row
  19. When people say they want to draw the big boys in Europe rather than minnows, I wince. I want the simplest draw. Same goes for this competition. I want to win it, Vardy to complete the set!
  20. Oh come on, it was arguably the greatest, most dramatic in-game moment in PL history. Martin Tyler's commentary on that is amazing.
  21. Bit like when Jimmy Willis first came, struggled and got dogs abuse. Ended up winning MoM v Derby at Wembleh!
  22. Soumare had a shocker when he came on but hey ho, it was must win, and we won ugly. Four wins on the bounce! Happy days!
