Always enjoy watching old Dave Allen stuff on YouTube. Gives me a warm feeling because my dad used to laugh his head off when watching him.

Her articles play very well to the left-leaning Twitterati therefore she gets lots of clicks and online love. As with most social media, it doesn't translate hugely much elsewhere.

Strangely enough, You Gov had Labour 2 points ahead just over a month ago, their first poll leads since January when that was also a You Gov poll. Actually, from Nov 2020 to Jan 2021, You Gov did 12 polls... Labour led in 7, Tories 3 and 2 ties - while the other pollsters largely had the Tories in front. PS You Gov did a poll of over 100,000 people in the week before the 2019 GE (polls are usually a couple of thousand) and it slightly underestimated the actual Tory vote and overestimated the actual Labour vote in the GE. So don't get too excited....

Were there thunderbolts and lightning, very very frightening?

Biggest/largest saving you've 'negotiated'

What about if it's car insurance, for example, and they ramp the renewal but drop it back when you call them and it's the cheapest quote you've got? -

I know what you mean about these things. It's a tricky thought process but generally I go with: "I've got the deal I wanted, regardless of the journey getting to it." -
I have a friend who put a previously used reference on the locator form when coming home from a holiday. Nobody checked that and nobody followed up why the day two test wasn't taken. As Deb said, lots of these things are a money making exercise. Of course if the locator form doesn't accept the number you can always try changing a digit, as Panini said, or legally purchase a day 2 test, not that they actually chase up the results on that.

Tom Curran given the last over for Delhi Capitals when Rabada had one left with CSK needing 13 to win to make the IPL final....... He'd bowled well in his first 3, yes, but Rabada at the death had to be a much better option. -

Tottenham have won one major trophy since ENIC took over (Dec 2000), the League Cup in 2008. That's the same number as Wigan, Portsmouth, Blackburn, Middlesbrough, Birmingham and Swansea. We've won two of course...

Rodgers has been in charge of us for 93 league games and got us 153 points. That would be an average of 63 points, scoring 66 goals and conceding 46 per season. Those points would've got us 7th, 5th, 7th, 6th, 7th, 6th, 6th, 8th, 6th, 7th in the past 10 seasons. He's got us into Europe by league position twice and won us the FA Cup. That may be comfortable but not exciting for some but bloody hell it's exciting for me.
-
We've actually taken 33 points from the last 25 games which, over a 38 game league season, would be 50 points.
-
We've got 15 points from the last 14 league games, not impressive, but does include a period when we won the holy grail of the FA Cup. Even elite managers have poor runs of form.

Some of the comments here about Rodgers are embarrassing given what he's done with us.

All depends on the venue and crowd and type of night. Insomnia doesn't really work at Slug & Lettuce Solihull on a Saturday as it's a bar rather than a club. I could play Agadoo on their 80s night but I think that's a bit too cheesy and it's never been requested. Popworld in Solihull on a Sunday night is anything goes really - proper cheese is not discouraged. In Ibiza things are more on the house vibe. I do play some stuff I don't personally like (Sean Paul for example) but the women tend to love that. If you keep the punters happy (you can never please everyone of course) then they stay and spend and the bosses are happy and you remain employed, it's a no brainer.

Nah mate. Usually this...

I play it a lot at DJ gigs (I'm cringey and annoying so it's okay) and everyone sings along. It's great seeing people have fun, especially after the last year or two.

We win the biggest English domestic knockout trophy for the first time in our history and some want to find ways to discredit it.
