Yes and no, but personal experience wouldn’t say uni has made me what I am today through academia or life skills versus someone who has worked from 16. I don’t regret going, but I would encourage my kids if I have them not to go to uni unless they needed the degree to be a doctor, dentist etc. I would be pushing them into an apprenticeship in engineering or something hands on but that’s going off topic

we make about £90 a month after mortgage (interest only), landlord insurance, paying the estate agent to oversee the property, then tax. We have had the house left in a horrific state that took us about a weeks worth of labour that we won't be paid for, their deposit only just about covered the cost. There isn't any money to be made apart from the property going up in value over time. Maybe the landlords who have 3/4/5 properties+ can really cream it

you do realise most landlords own one house , not the image of multi-milllionares, we own another property due to circumstance. We will sell next year most likely because it isn't worth it anymore.
