The missus has already started feeding into this idea.. she mentioned about carrying this on after January!! Got to say you do feel great and obviously a lot healthier goes without saying. vegetarian is so much easier a lot more choice, think i miss cheese the most as the milk alternatives are actually quite nice I've spent a fair bit of money on those Bosh books that seem quite popular. Tonights menu ... vegetable thai green curry with home made naan bread. Oh and to top it off i'm doing dry Jan so got a zero % heineken definitely best on the market.
-
I'm doing veganuary for the sake of losing some christmas timber. You do feel great on it, more energy and don't feel sluggish and tired after meal times and don't need a coffee to sh*t in the mornings. I'm doing it properly so none of this meat alternative take-away style foods that are just as bad. Only downside is planning and food shop about 30% more expensive

Brendan Rodgers is very good at improving players, not many signings we have made recently that haven't worked out. Get him on board.
-
you aren't getting my point, I know that's the norm. It's people who think it won't affect them under a certain age, a quarter of people in intensive care are under 55. two people i know have long covid. It's the mindset of people thinking it's 'not too bad' as to why there is over 1000 dead for third day in a row.
-
well, it is... more likely to care less when it comes to breaking rules, getting to close to people the list goes on it's attitudes like that which is why we are the worst country in the world for population:death ratio, such an arrogance to it
-
Unfortunately, the main issue is people under 40 thinking if they get it it's like the flu or even symptomless. i'm 28 and felt like I had the sh*t kicked out of me for a few weeks and still recovering weeks after that, two of my mates have long covid and both under 30. One doesn't leave his house in case he gets it again it was that bad. It is the people with the mentality of "it won't affect me i'm young and healthy" that have got us in this deep mess

I agree, minimum wage you could save 30k and still not be able to borrow enough. So sad really isn't it.. Government has to change things sooner rather than later, also hoping for a fall in house prices with stamp duty holiday ending etc
-
115 is low, are prices quite a bit cheaper in l'pool? i'm in Charnwood area and wouldn't get a shed for that! 2 bed terrace in a decent area looking at 150 minimum up to 190 for a decent one with not much work needed to be done. good you have managed to get some help with your deposit.. I've got Help to buy and another separate savings account with no help so has been a slog but will be good feeling when i get on the property ladder. It is criminal that nothing is being done. 5% doesn't help single buyers as new build prices are inflated anyway so a 2 bed new build will be 200 grand
-
its absolutely madness, i'm in a reasonably fortunate position as i have a deposit ready to go and should hopefully be able to get a half decent 2 bed terrace. Some folk out there completely forgotten about. People moaning about SD doing my head in, try being a first time buyer in the biggest recession ever and house prices on the rise.
-
the SD holiday extension can do one as far as i concerned, as a first time buyer buying by myself the rise in house prices at an all time high during one of the worst recessions on record is absolutely ludicrous. Im sure you lot looking to move have half paid your mortgage already (and the rest!!) so can pay a bit of SD. Not your fault but hardest market ever for a first time buyer. I am banking on house prices dropping !

you enjoyed being on furlough and not working and disappointed you won't be on furlough again? good grief

I have read it as work from home if you can. only travel to work if you can't work from home. I might be wrong but looks similar to our tier 4 " New laws will require people to stay at home and work from home where possible. Outdoor gatherings are also to be cut back, with people only allowed to meet one person from one other household. Places of worship are to be closed, group exercise banned, and schools will largely operate via online and remote learning until at least February. These rules will apply across the Scottish mainland until at least the end of January, and will be kept under review. "

what does her full lockdown entail?
-
This. We are in lockdown anyway right now ? I would be extremely surprised if they shut the country down like last time ? idiots have been meeting up and breaking rules over Christmas and New Year so hopefully we will see a slight fall in figures soon. if they keep increasing, they will put the whole country in tier 4. Maybe close schools They need to be more strict on fines for people breaking rules, we are far too soft. Anyone else noticing quite often there is no queue to get into big supermarkets anymore? Let's start with sorting this out before moving onto anything more drastic. A country wide lockdown with manufacturing/construction stopping will be catastrophic and i hope this never happens.

Schmeichel - 400 Appearences for Leicester
JonnyBoy replied to Sampson's topic in Leicester City Forum
great asset for the club, albeit makes the odd mistake but his positives massively outweigh the occasional mistake (and kicking ) he is very vocal as well which will indirectly help the teams organisation. -
some can so pushy it is so off putting, nipped into the Lexus garage in Leicester when looking at company cars, told him it will be 3 months time minimum then he continued to say if i put an order in this week as the waiting list is long. Couldn't believe what i was hearing Good sales people listen to your needs first of all before selling to you and he failed at the first hurdle ! In your experience do different car brands attract and hire different styles of sales people? i have always have really good experience with Ford, proper down to earth people.

Elite performance again, the fact he is adding goals now is great to see. His corners today were very good as well

I don’t think it says anything about me at all Stan, it’s a football forum where we post our opinion. Recon I’m the first to criticise a player after a game ? 😑
-
Gave the ball away v palace that lead to a goal and almost cost us today by gifting them a free kick, anyone waking up yet ? Stop hyping him up so much

50M? try 150

Crystal Palace 1-1 LCFC - Post Match Thread
JonnyBoy replied to StanSP's topic in Leicester City Forum
another game for the non starters to prove a point but none of the took it. Iheanacho, Justin, Perez were particularly poor, no goal threat when Maddison or Tielemans don't start, Praet too defensive. Points dropped which will really show when in a few days when teams catch up. Barnes outstanding again only positive. A Chelsea and Villa draw along with another christmas pudding vodka and everything will be OK -
weird how people always applaud effort, Perez tries hard every game but isn't any good for us
-
some of you are so deluded, he gave the ball away for the first goal with a miss placed pass. Stop thinking the sun shines out his arse it doesn't. All well and good being up and down all game but if most of the time he does nothing with it then whats the point
