Leicester City All Stars Vs Anstey Nomads All Stars

I've got two tickets if anyone wants them - can't go now due to change in KO time. SOLD -
It also feels like a goodbye and curtain closed to one of our great periods - the Pearson-Premier League-FA Cup generation. The final player to leave from that amazing part of our history.

The club don't have a great track record with commemorating our best - just looking back - Gordon Banks wasn't treated well. Even Wes recently - he seems to be doing loads for Forest! -
Hopefully the Ipswich match will be a sell out, and a good send off for him.
-
Pleased for Newcastle - well deserved and happy for their fans - proper decent!
-
There's little difference in fan mentality between clubs. Just different situations fans at the clubs experience. Stick a Leicester fans at Liverpool right now, it'd be the same. Stick a Forest fan in Leicester now, the same. Fans are fans, now matter how much "different" we all think we are.

He looks stronger and bulkier now!

Chilwell playing for Palace against Millwall - wonder if he'll take any throw-ins 😱

Momiki scored for Japan as they won SheBelieves Cup 🏆

The great escape team had real characters, modelled on the manager. Even when we were bottom, we knew we could change it. This current lot seem to have given up months ago, and either looking at their next move, pay day, or Championship.

To be fair, our coaches do seem rubbish. How many players actually improve when they come to us?
-
If they are intending to sack RVN, why would they announce the coaches beforehand? Makes no sense. Usually it'd be the manager and same announcement and single line to mention the rest of the team.
-
Our next manager needs to be one that stabalises us and gets us promoted next season. No point having a short term one. If Enzo gets sacked by Chelsea, would you have him back? If Corberán leaves Valencia if they get relegated, would you have him?
-
6 years since he passed. Still tragic there is no tribute/memorial/statue of him at KP! He is part of our club heritage and one of our greatest. It would be an easy "win" for the Club to do something.

I thought some of best business was done when he was manager!
-
He pissed off their last 2 managers, so sounds like trouble!
-
We've been a yo yo club for much of our history. Last season was pleasant enough, good games and happier - I didn't miss the Premier League at all.
-
That is a fair point. Gone of the days of a local businessman done well owning a club. It's an unfortunate choice of very questionable people/groups. Just look at Forest and their owner - a lot of question marks over his conduct, business and potential illegal trade, but he has very quickly, with some PR spin, managed to get Forest fans on his side. They have totally forgotten all the concerns they had. Let us be honest, most football fans wouldn't really care who owned the club if we were well run and successful. I still think our Club would be attractive to a new owner - a well known name, good history, stadium/training facilities, and a decent fan base.
-
Good luck to him. Time for him to demonstrate to us what the talent and expectation over the years is all about!

Our drop is as fascinating as our ascent. Books should be written about how a model club, one of the most successful small clubs in Europe, can go from high to low, within a few years.
