Went today to get a picture with Vardy - he came across as a thoroughly decent bloke!

RIP For many of us he was the voice of City on the radio!

Plenty of tickets available - can't get a better away day than Liverpool!

You can't force fans to scream, shout and chant. Much of it is that as fans we behave and grow up different to generations years ago. Generally people are more sedate, hyperstimulated by phones, entitled and want to be entertained by something they feel detached from. It's why this is not unique to Leicester and is this topic of chat is replicated across all 92.

Forest are a well organised team but if we want to stay up (comfortably) we should be aiming to beat teams like them at home. The result, especially the 2nd half performance, is a red flag - which is a shame after 2 decent victories on the bounce prior to that.

Serious engagement isn't about social media posts, likes and comments. It's a stupid measure.

Notts Forest (H) Friday 25th October 8pm
pkonline replied to FoxinNotts's topic in Leicester City Forum
I live in Nottingham and have seen such a stark decline in the city over the past 10 years. People in Leicester complain about what's happening there, but it's much more stark in Nottingham. Being such a student city, because times are hard and young people really don't socialise in the way one used to, most of the big clubs and bars have closed. The city centre is very dead even on on a Fri and a Sat. The independent pub, bar and restaurant scene in Leicester is much better, and there far more going in for comedy and theatre too. -

I'm surprised by this because he's always come across quite professional and level - after all, he did drop down with us last season and played reasonably well, and helped get us back up.

Have a great time 😀
-
Surprised Chelsea aren't in for him, as they're collecting midfielders ! Give an Enzo discount!
-
Interestingly a lot of talk about Sven last few days and his new documentary, so we may well be facing some more devastating news about another former manager .
-
He looked decent when he came on - quick, strong. He'll have opportunities this season with us.
-
There were some lovely tributes in the programme, including one from Ranieri.
-
Or it just gives him the excuse to retweet/repost the same "news" to gain more clicks and money!
-
The club need to accept we're going to make a loss on him. He's better gone than staying. It's a shame because he has bags of potential but his attitude and style does not suit us, and never will.

I think we dodged a bullet with this potential signing!
-
Great news - hopefully will be bis breakout season this year 🤞🏽

Ric Flair Live & Direct on BSLB Podcast
pkonline replied to Ric Flair's topic in Leicester City Forum
I am not a regular listener to the podcast but the last episode was good and summed up well how many fans feel about the club. The part about the gambling was really well done - a difficult topic to talk about but hit the right notes. I hope we aren't as bad as we expect on the pitch - and hopefully a bit more positivity during the season! Keep up the good work!
