Seeing as the ground development isn't happening (well anytime soon) it is a good opportunity to get some statues up - not just of Vardy but also some other Leicester greats. get some heritage on show. Fans would like it. Get the fan zone moved to a bigger area and incorporate that too.

Yes it feels like an end of an era - Vardy exemplified everything that Pearson and his coaches/recruitment team did. Like all eras, they end. I'm glad we managed to squeeze 13 years out of it! Perhaps looking back, we appreciate just how special that time was, and pleased it was our club.

Didn't go the "main" bars there. They had a stall from Mill Hill - they had a brilliant selection and it was 2 cans for £8 which isn't bad. Not much of queue compared to the main bars.

My favourite bit was seeing Pearson on the big screen, and his reaction to hearing the chants of his name - that was the most emotional bit of the day for me!

First visit to the Fan Zone yesterday. Had an enjoyable hour there. I think it's a positive addition to the current set up. Nice to be able to have some some local beers, the band were decent and a nice festival type atmosphere. It was very busy yesterday for obvious reasons, with according to one of the workers there, 3x the normal number. Apparently they are looking at developing it and moving it next year.

I watched it at home. Invited 5 others around (COVID restrictions). Decorated the kitchen in blue and made blue cocktails. The others weren't Leicester fans but any excuse to do something social due to COVID! Followed the whole day in the TV. Final whistle ran outside the street in tears. Got a taxi to KP with a few bottles of wine. 🥹 Great memories 💙

It's strange that Forest fans think there's a conspiracy against them - they think everyone is out to get them since they got promoted. They think the media and football authorities are plotting against them. Very strange how they've been brainwashed.

I don't begrudge their excitement - they're having a decent season and one of the best in decades. And it's ridiculous to lament their historic success in the 70s - it was amazing, as was ours. Nottingham isn't that different to Leicester, both the place and people. The sad thing is, any club trying to break into the top 5 will struggle - clubs like Villa, Brighton and even more starkly, us, are an example. This is probably their peak. And they're the second club of Marinakis - they're the junior/feeder club to his main one in Greece.
