  1. If we sign anyone, it's likely to be at the end of the window. Our recent record is one of very last minute activity!
  2. Of course it matters - people of colour are massively underrepresented in coaching and managerial roles and there is still racism - so it should be mentioned when someone of colour gets into a high profile role (based on his skills and merit). It's not virtue signalling.
  3. Ricardo always comes across well but never seen him as a leader. He's not the player he was pre-injury. I kinda feel sorry for him because at his best he was brilliant, and could have moved to a bigger club. Instead he's slumming it with us!
  4. Teams that get away with do end up falling by. There's only so much luck and flirting with relegation before you go back down. If staying up masks deep issues they do eventually come through. It happened to us, we see that with West Ham and Wolves this season, and it may happen to Forest next season.
  5. If Forest struggle this season or next, I wonder what impact that would have on their plans, just like ours did. It's a chicken and egg situation - you need continued success to make infrastructure investments, and to have that success you need regular income and self sufficiency that infrastructure like this would bring. It's a fine balance. Miss it by 1-2 years and you're stuffed, like we are/
  6. Our development isn't happening anytime soon - since they plans were unveiled so much has happened on and off the pitch - we aren't the club we were. They haven't announced it's been shelved that because it's not positive news. They'll just assume people forget about.
  7. Enzo is not coming back. His stock is much higher than when he left us, and he is an incredibly ambitious manager.
  8. Brendan getting a Saudi welcome 👀
  9. Useful to know - thank you!
  10. On aside, what are these vouchers for? The crap, unhealthy food at the ground? And why are they given in the first place - a perk of the job, or a genuine concern that a steward can't prep food around work? I assume stewards are on zero hour contracts?
  11. The club have now put a message up on their socials. https://www.instagram.com/p/DSub5SFjGB1/?igsh=dTIzcjV1dXliZjRr
  12. Looking back at this year, pleased to have done a few 10Ks and managed my first half marathon. What races have people got planned for next year?
  13. Behind every great manager is a great no 2. Robertson a classic example
  14. Forest, Derby, Celtic and Wycombe have all put pieces out on their socials.
  15. The players could win some brownie points by "donating" some of their wages to their colleagues as a good will gesture.
  16. I don't judge either the people attending this, nor those that watch the documentary. It's an evening out and something to do for some people - take it or leave it really. Doesn't harm anyone. I can't imagine the club did it for the money. Fatawu is clearly a very charismatic guy and most of us fans were gutted he got injured as he would have played a major role last season. He's also got a different story - where he's from, his faith, and culture, and already some ups and downs with us - so certainly if you're going to focus on any current player, he'd be one. Maybe it's the new social media team they have in and they want to try something new. Lots of clubs are trying this kinda stuff to connect more to the fans (whilst at the same time distancing themselves in other ways!). Sneering at people and even worse judging them by how they look, is akin to some folk believing that some of the ranters on here are probably living at their parents', have no social life and spend most of their time gaming or moaning online in their bedrooms day and night whilst necking energy drinks and vaping - Unfair generalisations... 😏
  17. I was part of the group that went the wrong way too. Actually quite enjoyed the detour and running around the Curve, but aware it could have been pretty serious with cars on a dual carriage way. Didn't really spoil the mood and really enjoyed the day. Personally I'm not fussed about times but appreciate some people it is important. Definitely do it again next year. I'm sure the organisers will do what they need to to avoid this happening again.
  18. It took him a while at QPR to get his team playing - he needs time. Yes it's not great at the moment, but calling for him to go is premature.
  19. I still don't understand why Kasper left - does anyone really know?
  20. Martin O'Neill is doing one of these in February https://www.demontforthall.co.uk/event/martin-oneill/ If Nige did one, it'd be awesome!
  21. Nice to see Wes staying after the end signing autographs and photos. Class guy. We really should be getting him into the club in some capacity. He's intelligent, sensible, and people look up to him.
  22. Thought it was interesting what their thoughts were on the current state of the club and identity, and how they appeared keen on having some involvement. Huth was hilarious. I thought the event was decent - having been to a few in the past, incl smaller ones, they can be very hit and miss, but I think the presenter and the 4 players made it work well and it was a decent 2 hours! Hopefully something in the pipeline for the 10 year anniversary next year.
  23. I wish her well. Sad to see things soured over the past few years, but taken as a whole, from when she joined and what we achieved, she had made an great and long standing impression on the Club.
  24. Maybe another appointment from the King Power Group?
  25. An article by the scum The Sun Former Premier League champions in race against time to begin construction on stunning 40,000-seater indoor stadium https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/36873074/leicester-new-stadium-construction-delayed-permit/ LEICESTER CITY are reportedly in a race against time to begin construction on a new 40,000-seater stadium. The Foxes have been playing at their current home, the King Power Stadium, since 2002.
