A wins a win, but we need to step it up, stop other teams trying to take the p*SS out of us and kill games off quicker. On paper we have the best players in the league we need to start showing team we mean business, we have to bear in mind we could have a points deduction, so we need to rack up as many as we can, so it we can't get automatic promotion we have the play off route.

Still poor, half hearted, we should be doing a lot better than that, seemed to be no urgency and no desire to kill off the game after scoring

That was p*** poor I thought I was watching a league one side not a championship one, the problem is it's hard to see how we going to get better and we only three games into the season.

In the championship you only need four quality players plus a few younger players who are going to shine doesn't matter about the rest but what we lack is a quality striker

Having watched Southampton today there side looked nothing like the squad they had in the premier where they were terrible, if we only lose Mads and Wilf we basically still have the same squad as last season plus alot of talented youngest. On paper and style of play you should be far too good, but almost feel like I'm tempting fate by saying that, the biggest concern to us is possible points deduction and how many, if it only 6 should be fine, even losing 12 isn't the end of world if you still can get 90 points and even with a points deduction play off spot isn't going to be too difficult if you winning most of your games.

Watching tonight's match I'm actually looking forward to this season it's going to be more exciting than last season, no VAR, I'd actually prefer to stay in championship, promotion to the premier is a pointless exercise these days and to be honest I find the premier boring, the big money clubs have killed it. I'd happily scrap promotion it would be more enjoyable winning the championship and defending the following season, instead of going up and suffering the misery of the premier the following season.

we didn't concede and i didn't see him do anything too shocking today so ill take that performance today and should be good enough for championship

Hopefully he did enough today to keep Faes out opening game and beyond

Having seen the way we played today I'm really impressed and he clearly wants to include the young players too. I think that this season in championship should be a lot more exciting than the that dreadful style of play Enzo had us playing last time we were there. Get the impression that the players enjoy playing his style of football too, even Vestagaard looked good today, that's something I never expected to ever say again haha

I can see Fatawu will be gone by the start of the season he's too good for championship football,bigger teams watching that will be thinking this kid has quality

The impression I've got seeing him on the lcfc YouTube that he's appears to be too overly confident when he doesn't have an inspirating record, as a manager is only one place he seems to shone but even think in the end they sacked him too, I also felt that the interaction with the players wasn't convincing, you got the feeling from some of players it was a case of here we ago another yet as another manager with big ambitions and have too many players who can make it awkward if they get a manager they don't like or his style of play, I was thinking if Faes stays how as a new manager do you stop him being so constantly poor and telling him he's not as great as Faes thinks he is. I guess we will find out in the first few games hopefully I will be proved wrong.

Ok someone explain to me what the logic is of appointing someone who was sacked by a team middle of the table, surely you should be poaching a manager who got their team to the playoff at least last season. Does anyone know how much we are going to pay him compared to Enzo and Ruud I assume its a fraction of what the other two got, if it the same amount then someone in the club has clearly lost the plot.

We are not going to be able to sell all the players we want to, so we will be stuck with a core of players while weren't good enough for the premier will be good enough for the championship plus a having younger talented players to coming through, it should be an interesting season, maybe we can get a few loan premier youngest that their clubs want to get match experience, we are better saving our money for premier that will hopefully tie up with the players we can't shift running out of contract. This season could be the era of a new Leicester and we can get back to bring talent through to sell at later date and back to the model that was key to our success in the past.

Look at his stats looks like he's had stop start career looks like a cheap option appointment might get us into the premier just because we still should have a good enough squad for the championship depending on the points deduction we might get but after that give him 10 to 12 matches before we sack him at this stage. I can't say I'm too excited but I'll see how it goes but it hard to get optimistic about anything this club does lately

We had too many players last season that either not good enough or couldn't be bothered or both,.this season will be different any manager with reasonable football brain should get something out of the squad on paper we still should have a better squad that most. I don't see point of wasting money we can't afford on mega bucks manager that down the line we will sack

Why doesn't the board just do something sensible for a change and just appoint King we will have enough decent players left even after off loading the quality players to have a decent championship squad and bring in the young players too, King seems to have the right attitude to make it all gel.
