Both of them play in a serious position of need in Enzo’s system. That being said I’d fancy Braybrooke to get an opportunity in the first team for sure whereas Alves may get a Championship loan. We haven’t got an obvious Harry Winks understudy and Braybrooke spending a season behind Winks and learning from him/allowing him the opportunity to rest in cup games seems obvious to me next season.

Been mentioned before but I’d 100% take Szmodics. Flexible can play as an attacking 8/number 10/deep lying number 9. Think he could do a number of roles well in Enzo’s system.

Knew it were bad but I was told over £200 million losses at the weekend but it’s actually closer to £300 🫠. Let’s be honest it’s serious financial mismanagement of a business but the saving grace for those in power (Whelan and Rudkin et al) is that the football industry isn’t “traditional business” but I tell you what the football financial bubble is about to burst because the amount of clubs constantly losing large sums of money isn’t sustainable.

If the rumoured losses we are about to post are true the players agents will be telling them they haven’t got a prayer of being here next season if we don’t go up. That additional pressure will be too much for most of these players and to be fair some of them probably won’t care and already planning for the future.

They’ve already gambled the clubs future. Just wait until Tuesday when the club is supposed to be announcing the full financial accounts. If we don’t go up this season, we basically won’t exist unless someone comes along and buys the club.
