Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR
Sol thewall Bamba replied to David Hankey's topic in Leicester City Forum
Don't think Wheelan would get much of a say tbh, but we would definitely support it to cosy up to the big boys and the league. Lapdogs. -
Premier league clubs to vote on scrapping VAR
Sol thewall Bamba replied to David Hankey's topic in Leicester City Forum
I hope we don't get a vote, we would absolutely vote in favour of keeping it. -
They've had multiple options to reform the away points system put to them by fans, all ignored as usual. Just easier to not rock the boat, default position as normal is to keep things the way they've always been, don't make unnecessary work for themselves.

Season Ticket - New - Successful or Not?
Sol thewall Bamba replied to StanSP's topic in Ticket News and Travel
It really isn't a high bar. Anyone with 2 or 3 seasons of membership and attending half the games during that time has a decent shot. -
Season Ticket - New - Successful or Not?
Sol thewall Bamba replied to StanSP's topic in Ticket News and Travel
Yep. Someone can have a decent shot of a season ticket after 2 or 3 seasons of membership. @steveherbe has 110 odd points having only bought a few home tickets on his membership the last couple of seasons. It's a perfectly fair progression curve. -
Which is absolutely understandable. This year people got 15 for renewing, then could have got an additional 24 (23 league home games plus Birmingham FA cup), so the bar jumping up by 20/25 points a season is about right.

Singing/Standing Section Updates

I get the sentiment but awful (non existent) comms again make things harder than they need to be. -
Did they give any alternatives?

Looks like we're targetting the nordics for new signings, probably on the basis that they'll be cheap on the wages front.
-
Agree, but not with the amount of barriers there are in the way of attending. Do we have 40K fans that want to come every week, I'd say yes. Do we have 40K fans that want to come every week, will pay for a membership and then pay for expensive tickets that they can only get on their mobile, I would be much more skeptical.

Calling up and speaking to someone to help you is easier and more accessible than doing it online or having to go to a physical ticket office tbf.

Premier League Thread 2023/2024
Sol thewall Bamba replied to Nalis's topic in General Football and Sport
Notts Forest getting 67 points across two seasons and still surviving. Their luck is truly unrivalled, their games against Ipswich next season will be the most ridiculous game in the history of the sport. -

What's the lowest ever combined points the bottom three have ever accrued? These three sets of nobheads are surely down there. -
Safe standing - time to act
Sol thewall Bamba replied to Safe Standing Roadshow's topic in Leicester City Forum
Gone from homeless to having this before us -
Main motivation is knowing exactly who is in the ground at any point. Current safety officer (Paul Cook), is pretty terrified of not knowing who's in "his ground". Most of this stems from him.
